Yard sign, yard sign! Get your yard sign! Let me know if you are in the #KansasCity area and would like a 988 Missouri crisis Lifeline sign to display in your yard and give hope to others! Plus, placing a sign in your yard helps to break the stigma that surrounds mental health, suicide, substance abuse, and many other subjects that society sweeps under the rug. Help out during may, mental health month, and all year round by leaving a light on and talking away the dark with others! The 988 crisis Lifeline sign will let others know that you're open to talk, and that they are not alone.     I have a very special guest with us today. Rossy Duran is joining us to share about her son Daniel Bañuelos, who died by suicide just under a year ago. Rossy is a part of the Latina community and hopes to bring education, awareness, and hope to the community affected by suicide loss. This is a very important topic because of the stigma that not only surrounds suicide, but surrounds cultures also affected by suicide. So, that is why today’s episode is also broadcast in Spanish. I hope to help Rossy have a platform to share the love she has in bringing this hope to the community through her words and actions. This is a long episode guys, so be prepared to stay for the duration of our time together. We really appreciate your engagement.

    Tengo un invitado muy especial con nosotros hoy. Rossy Duran se une a nosotros para compartir sobre su hijo Daniel Bañuelos, quien se suicidó hace poco menos de un año. Rossy es parte de la comunidad latina y espera brindar educación, conciencia y esperanza a la comunidad afectada por la pérdida por suicidio. Este es un tema muy importante debido al estigma que no sólo rodea al suicidio, sino que también rodea a las culturas afectadas por el suicidio. Por eso el episodio de hoy también se transmite en español. Espero ayudar a Rossy a tener una plataforma para compartir el amor que tiene al llevar esta esperanza a la comunidad a través de sus palabras y acciones.
