Psalms 8:1

¶

¡Jehová, Señor nuestro,

cuán grande es tu nombre en toda la tierra!

¡Has puesto tu gloria

sobre los cielos!

Psalms 8:2

De la boca de los niños

y

(de los niñitos de pecho)

fundaste la fortaleza a causa de tus enemigos,

para hacer callar al enemigo y al vengativo.

Psalms 8:3

¶

Cuando veo tus cielos, obra de tus dedos,

la luna y las estrellas que tú formaste,

Psalms 8:4

digo:

«¿Qué es el hombre

para que tengas de él memoria,

y el hijo del hombre para que lo visites?».

Psalms 8:5

¶

Lo has hecho poco menor que los ángeles

y lo coronaste de gloria y de honra.

Psalms 8:6

Lo hiciste señorear sobre las obras de tus manos;

todo lo pusiste debajo de sus pies:

ovejas y bueyes, todo ello,

y asimismo las bestias del campo,

las aves del cielo y los peces del mar;

¡todo cuanto pasa por los senderos del mar!

¡Jehová, Señor nuestro,

cuán grande es tu nombre en toda la tierra!

La Gloria

Luke 11:1

Aconteció

que estaba

Jesús

orando en un lugar,

y cuando terminó,

uno de sus discípulos le dijo:

Señor,

enséñanos a orar,

como también

Juan enseñó a sus discípulos.

Luke 11:2

Y les dijo:

Cuando oréis, decid:

¶

Padre nuestro

que estás en los cielos,

santificado sea tu nombre.

Venga tu reino.

Hágase tu voluntad,

como en el cielo,

así también en la tierra.

Luke 11:3

El pan nuestro de cada día,

dánoslo hoy.

Luke 11:4

Y perdónanos

nuestros pecados,

porque también

nosotros

perdonamos a todos los que nos deben.

Y no nos metas en tentación,

mas líbranos del mal.

John 17:1

Estas cosas habló Jesús,

y levantando los ojos al cielo, dijo: ¶ —Padre, la hora ha llegado:

glorifica a tu Hijo,

para que también tu Hijo te glorifique a ti,

John 17:2

pues le has dado potestad sobre toda carne para que dé vida eterna a todos los que le diste.

John 17:3

Y esta es la vida eterna:

que te conozcan a ti,

el único Dios verdadero,

y a Jesucristo, a quien has enviado.

John 17:4

»Yo te he glorificado en la tierra;

he acabado la obra que me diste que hiciera.

John 17:5

Ahora pues, Padre,

glorifícame tú al lado tuyo,

con aquella gloria que tuve contigo antes que el mundo existiera.

John 17:6

»He manifestado

tu nombre

a los hombres

que del mundo me diste;

tuyos eran, y me los diste,

y han guardado tu palabra.

John 17:7

Ahora

han conocido

que todas

las cosas que me has dado proceden de ti,

John 17:8

porque

las palabras que me diste

les he dado;

y ellos las recibieron y han conocido verdaderamente que salí de ti,

y han creído que tú me enviaste.

John 17:17

En Tu Verdad:

Tu Palabra Es Verdad.

Trust in the LORD, and do good;

dwell in the land and befriend faithfulness.

Psalms 37:4

Delight yourself in the LORD,

and he will give you the desires of your heart.

Commit your way to the LORD;

trust in him, and he will act.

Psalms 37:6

He will bring forth your righteousness as the light,

and your justice as the noonday.

Psalms 37:7

Be still before the LORD and wait patiently for him;

fret not yourself over the one who prospers in his way,

over the man who carries out evil devices!

Psalms 37:18

¶

The LORD knows the days of the blameless,

and their heritage will remain forever;

Psalms 37:19

they are not put to shame in evil times;

in the days of famine they have abundance.

Psalms 37:22

for those blessed by the LORD shall inherit the land,

but those cursed by him shall be cut off.

Psalms 37:23

¶

The steps of a man are established by the LORD,

when he delights in his way;

Psalms 37:24

though he fall, he shall not be cast headlong,

for the LORD upholds his hand.

Psalms 37:25

¶

I have been young, and now am old,

yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken

or his children begging for bread.

Psalms 37:26

He is ever lending generously,

and his children become a blessing.

Psalms 37:28

For the LORD loves justice;

he will not forsake his saints.

They are preserved forever,

but the children of the wicked shall be cut off.

Psalms 37:29

The righteous shall inherit the land

and dwell upon it forever.

Psalms 37:30

The mouth of the righteous utters wisdom,

and his tongue speaks justice.

Psalms 37:31

The law of his God is in his heart;

his steps do not slip.

Psalms 37:34

¶

Wait for the LORD and keep his way,

and he will exalt you to inherit the land;

you will look on when the wicked are cut off.

Psalms 37:39

¶

The salvation of the righteous is from the LORD;

he is their stronghold in the time of trouble.

Psalms 37:40

The LORD helps them and delivers them;

he delivers them from the wicked and saves them,

because they take refuge in him.
