Jessi Morgan in 2023 had a traumatic experience that shaped how she views life and her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. God has laid it on her heart to share her experiences and inspire others to put God first in every aspect of their life like she finally did in hers. Having her daughter born 4 months early really made Jessi lean on the Lord for comfort and guidance. And today she stands here starting her own 10-15 minute podcast focusing on weekly devotionals about what God can do for you and what He's done for her.

  • Should Christians Ask God or AI? How to Find True Wisdom | James 1:6–12
    2026/08/20

Text if you need me? Prayer or just need encouragement…

We live surrounded by instant answers, endless opinions, and tools that promise clarity in seconds, but James 1:6–12 asks a harder question: when you need wisdom, do you actually trust God enough to wait for Him? I’m walking through verses that warn against doubt that pulls us like waves, and I’m getting honest about what double-mindedness looks like in real life when our loyalty gets divided between prayer and everyone else’s input.

I share a childhood story that stayed with me for decades, a moment that taught me how fear of asking can lead to unnecessary pain. From there, we connect the dots to our spiritual lives: asking God for wisdom, believing He is willing to help, and resisting the urge to fill every quiet moment with more noise. We also talk about the AI-driven world we’re in now. As someone who works in tech, I see the value of tools like ChatGPT, but I also see the danger when technology becomes our first stop instead of our support.

You’ll hear how discernment matters in high-stakes seasons, including the choice to avoid spiraling into worst-case scenarios online while still respecting medical expertise and asking the right questions. We close with practical ways to spend meaningful time with God each day: slow Bible study, journaling, comparing translations, and giving the Holy Spirit room to guide you. If you’re craving true wisdom, steady faith, and a calmer mind, subscribe, share this with a friend, and leave a review so more people can find the devotional.

  • Christian Friendship and Accountability: Why Good Friends Tell You the Truth
    2026/08/13

Text if you need me? Prayer or just need encouragement…

“Consider it nothing but joy” might be one of the most misunderstood commands in the New Testament, especially when you’re staring down real stress, real fear, and a season you didn’t choose. We open James 1:1–4 and talk about what that line actually means, why it’s not pretending everything is fine, and how tested faith can produce endurance that changes you from the inside out.

That shift is where spiritual growth starts to become real.

You’ll hear a track and field training analogy that makes endurance feel tangible, plus a practical exercise you can do today. If you’re looking for Christian encouragement, a short devotional on joy in trials, or a Bible study reflection on the Book of James, this is a steady place to land. Subscribe for weekly devotionals, share this with a friend who needs hope, and if you feel led, leave a review so more people can find it.

  • Christian Friendship and Accountability: Why Good Friends Tell You the Truth
    2026/08/06

Text if you need me? Prayer or just need encouragement…

What does the Bible teach about Christian friendship and accountability? In Part 3 of the Friendship Series, we explore why godly friends tell us the truth—even when the truth is difficult to hear and how loving correction can strengthen our faith, relationships, and character.

Some of the most loving words you will ever hear are the ones you don’t want to hear. True Christian accountability is not about judgment, embarrassment, or speaking with anger. It is about having friends who care enough to correct you with honesty, wisdom, and love.

I share a real-life experience involving a social media joke that did not land the way it was intended. What followed was an honest conversation between close friends, careful attention to tone, genuine repentance, and the restoration of the friendship. It was also a reminder that something dismissed as “just social media” may represent another person’s business, ministry, calling, or livelihood.

We then turn to the biblical story of Nathan confronting King David after David’s sin involving Bathsheba and his attempt to cover it up. Nathan demonstrated what biblical accountability looks like: he had the courage to speak truth to someone powerful while allowing God to bring conviction.

In this Christian devotional, we discuss:

    • What healthy Christian accountability looks like
    • Why godly friends tell us difficult truths
    • How to correct a friend with love instead of anger
    • How humility and repentance can repair a friendship
    • What Nathan and David teach us about biblical accountability
    • How to recognize and become a “Nathan friend”
    • Where to find deeper Christian friendships and community

If you have been praying for godly friendships, deeper Christian community, or friends who will encourage your growth, this episode will help you understand why accountability is an essential part of biblical friendship.

Ask God to place “Nathan friends” in your life and to give you the courage, wisdom, and humility to become that kind of friend for someone else.
