I've Got A Mate podcast gives you an opportunity to join me as I sit down for interesting and in-depth yarns with some of the people I've been lucky enough to call mates over the years. Trust me, I've met some interesting characters, and I've got a mate you should definitely meet......

In Season 1, Glenn catches up with a few of his Indigenous mates to hear their perspectives on topics related to Indigenous cultures, politics, economics, and worldviews.

So come on the journey, have a laugh, be curious, and join us as we ask questions, and hear some perspectives you may not have had the chance to hear before.

  • I've Got a Mate Episode 5 - Minda Murray
    2025/07/08

Today's episode of I've got a mate podcast features Minda Murray, a mate of mine who I caught up with recently to chat about a range of things including Joint Management up in Yorta Yorta Country, Indigenous design, Indigenous data sovereignty and film making, navigating academia differently as an Indigenous academic, Criterium Cycling and what happens when you stack, horse riding, and a whole bunch of other stuff.

This episode was recorded on Dja Dja Wurrung Country and my acknowledgement and deepest respect goes to Elders past and present. Also, my acknowledgement and respect goes to the Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung Community, on whose land I live and work.

  • I've Got A Mate Episode 4 - Leon Filewood
    2025/06/23

Today's episode of 'I've got a mate' features Leon Filewood, who generously spent time with me during the run of his show 'Whichway' at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival. Leon and I have a good yarn about his Country up on Thursday Island, whether there is such a thing as a 'nice' racist, his journey with comedy and using humour to approach tough conversations with kindness, whether the term 'ally' is useful or whether there might be a better alternative, and a whole range of other things.

This episode was recorded on Wurundjeri Woi-Wurrung Country and my deepest respect goes to Elders past and present, and I'm thankful for being able to feel welcome as part of this community, living and working on this land.
