    2026/02/08

This week we finish our series called “Our Vision” and is based on the new vision statement of the United Methodist Church. We continue with “Lead Courageously” and we explore the way that we are called to lead by truth and faith. That we should put on the full armor of God so that we can lead courageously. We love boldly, serve joyfully, and lead courageously as we share the Gospel message.

Our scripture readings come from Joshua 1:7-9; Ephesians 6:10-17; and Matthew 10:16-20, 26-27.

  • Word in Song: On the Turning Away
    2026/01/18

This week we return to the “Word in Song.” This series is one that I come back to periodically and conect a song to Scripture. This week our message is "On the Turning Away" and comes from the song of the same name by Pink Floyd. We must face our own responsiblity as we look at not turning away from the problems of the world, but always turning to God to do good in this world. We sing a song of the heart when we sing of the Gospel message.

Our scripture readings come from Ezekiel 18:21-32; 1 John 3:13-18; Matthew 18:1-9.
