About Episode
Emily Taylor is a woman who is very familiar with resilience. As a child she was in and out of hospitals for different health conditions. Growing up as an athlete she learned how to be a leader on and off the field. She learned how to work hard, be disciplined and found a "no matter what" attitude. So when life began to throw her curve balls it was her past and the skills she learned as an athlete that equipped her for what was ahead. During postpartum only a few months after giving birth to her son she was diagnosed with Stage Four Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma. Emily would endure so much pain and mental hurdles as a postpartum mom and yet she shares how the only thing she could do was show up and keep going. Just like previous seasons of life, she fought and fought hard. Now four years after being diagnosed with cancer she is running her third marathon (including NYC & Boston). Emily is more on fire for her gifting as a second grade teacher and living her life on purpose filled with love and joy. Join us for a conversation that will both bring you to tears and uplift you with the courage and grace Emily embodies and shares with everyone she knows.
