On the day of Nandini's delivery Prakhar stays by her side, and the next morning the cries of a son and a daughter fill their home. Two years later, at Kartik's birthday, Adhiraj announces a gift of a trip to Switzerland for everyone, and Prakhar and Nandini prepare for a romantic journey.

Nandini insists that Prakhar meet Shalini, and he takes her to Ayush's office, where Ayush's pent-up anger bursts out. After a chance injury the two friends settle their differences, and all four couples celebrate with a dinner together.

Prakhar begs Nandini not to leave him, and she promises to stay with him always. Meanwhile Shalini is troubled by the distance between Ayush and Prakhar, while Seema and Yashwant's rift may bring new tension to the house.

Seeing Prakhar well brings Nandini relief, but she has already packed her bag and Ganesh's and cannot find an excuse to go. Seeing the bags in the room, Prakhar's anger flares, and the two have an emotional reunion.

At the hospital Nandini faints when Prakhar's stitches are removed, and on waking insists on going home, while Prakhar is discharged a week later. Everyone welcomes Prakhar back to Shanti Bhawan, but Nandini stays shut away on the room's balcony and Ganesh gives Prakhar a special card.

Hearing Prakhar's angry taunts, Nandini breaks down and begins to punish herself, and Prakhar steadies her, apologises and clears everything up. Then Nandini faints on seeing blood seeping from Prakhar's stomach, and he calls a doctor in a panic.

Dr. Asha slaps Ayush at the hospital for making Shalini cry, which melts Shalini's anger and the two speak from their hearts. Meanwhile at the hospital Prakhar asks Shekhar why he is so sad.

Nandini cries on Adhiraj's shoulder, and he teaches her to bear Prakhar's anger and win him over, while Prakhar regains consciousness. Meanwhile Dr. Asha slaps Ayush for making Shalini cry, and Prakhar pretends to sleep and secretly watches Nandini.
