このコンテンツについて
Welcome to Stories from the Wilderness, a podcast where faith and storytelling meet in the quiet spaces of real life. I’m Patrick Oliver Griswold—writer, poet, and follower of Jesus—and this show is my offering of words shaped by Scripture, sorrow, and hope.
Each episode features a story, poem, or reflection—sometimes from my published works (Letters to the Living, A Walk With Grace), sometimes brand new. They’re written for those who still believe in grace, or want to. For those who carry grief, or questions, or a memory they can’t quite shake. For anyone trying to follow Christ through the wilderness seasons of life.
You’ll hear the story of Jake, a grieving contractor who finds healing in a small church by the sea. Peter, a broken man on the run from his past. Strangers caught in moments that matter—when God comes close and changes everything. Sometimes you’ll hear poetry. Sometimes just a quiet thought at the end of a long day. But every episode points toward the same truth: that even in the hardest places, God is still speaking.
This podcast is rooted in Scripture but told through narrative. It’s not a sermon. It’s not a lecture. It’s an invitation—to sit, to breathe, and to listen.
Maybe you’re in a season where the old answers don’t work. Maybe you’re walking through loss or doubt. Maybe you just need a story that reminds you you’re not alone. If so, you’re welcome here.
Stories from the Wilderness is for the ones still reaching. Still wrestling. Still being found.
New episodes drop regularly—some short, some longer. Always honest. Always Christ-centered.
So hit play. Let the story unfold.
You might just find yourself in it.
