このコンテンツについて
Welcome to my podcast, 'English Canada.' In this first episode, I introduce myself as an ESL instructor based in Toronto and share my journey of moving to Canada in 2022 through a program for Ukrainian nationals called CUAET. I also discuss my educational background, including degrees in linguistics and pedagogical science, along with certifications like TESOL Ontario and CELTA.
Key topics include teaching English, language learning tips, true stories from Canada, Toronto culture, immigration experiences, and North American accent training. My aim is to inspire those dreaming of moving to Canada and provide insights into my life and career.
I also share my experience navigating the Canadian immigration system, the competitiveness of obtaining permanent residency, and the importance of language proficiency. I detail my journey of learning French from scratch and ultimately securing permanent residency through the Ontario provincial program.
Lastly, I touch on my struggles with mental health, including depression and burnout, and the importance of seeking professional help. I express my plans to continue helping others through language learning and look forward to sharing more insights and tips in future episodes.
