  • The 18 Missing Years of Jesus: A Journey to India, Britain and Japan?
    2025/01/12
Where was Jesus during the 18 missing years in the Bible? Known as the "Missing Years of Jesus," the Bible remains silent about nearly two decades of Jesus' life - from age 12 to 30. This mysterious gap has fuelled countless theories, blending history, myth, and cultural folklore. Some believe Jesus travelled in these unknown years to distant lands such as India, Britain, or even Japan - seeking wisdom and enlightenment before returning to Judea. But what evidence exists to support these stories? One of the most intriguing claims places Jesus in India and Tibet. In the late 19th century, Russian journalist Nicolas Notovitch claimed he discovered Tibetan manuscripts in the Hemis Monastery, referencing a figure named “Issa” - a man whose life mirrors Jesus. According to the texts, Issa travelled the Silk Road, studying Buddhism and Hinduism before returning to Judea. However, scholars have fiercely debated Notovitch’s story, with no verified evidence of these manuscripts emerging to date. Yet, the legend persists, raising questions about Jesus' lost years in India. Other tales take us to Britain, where folklore intertwines with the legend of Joseph of Arimathea. Stories suggest Jesus visited England with his uncle, a tin merchant, and studied with the Druids. Glastonbury Cathedral, often dubbed a spiritual centre, remains central to these claims. William Blake’s famous poem; "And did those feet in ancient time / Walk upon England’s mountains green?" immortalized this idea, but historical evidence remains scarce, leaving the connection between Jesus and Britain a matter of enduring speculation. Finally, an eccentric tale emerges from Shingō, Japan, where villagers believe Jesus escaped crucifixion, fled to Japan, and lived as a rice farmer. According to the lore, Jesus married, had children, and lived to the remarkable age of 106. While historians dismiss this as local folklore, Shingō’s "Jesus Tomb" has become a quirky tourist attraction, drawing those curious about Christ’s mythos around the world. The “Lost Years of Jesus” remains a fascinating enigma. Whether he ventured across continents or stayed in Galilee, these untold years continue to inspire documentaries, debates, and global curiosity. From "Jesus in India" theories to "Did Jesus Travel The World" explorations, the search for answers reminds us of humanity’s enduring desire to understand the full story of Jesus Christ. • Who Are the Syrian Rebels? The Path From Extremism to Democracy
    2025/01/12
Syria stands at a pivotal crossroads following the fall of Bashar al-Assad’s decades-long regime. Can the Syrian rebels transition from extremism to democracy, reshaping the nation’s future? In a dramatic turn of events, Syrian rebels have redrawn the nation's maps by entering Damascus and claiming victory, sparking celebrations across the country. Yet, behind the euphoria lies a fragmented country, with rival factions like Hayat Tahrir al-Sham (HTS) and its leader Abu Mohammad al-Julani, vying for control. Originally an affiliate of al-Qaeda, HTS’s rebranding and recent promises of inclusivity contrast sharply with its history of extremism, raising critical questions about its capacity to lead Syria toward democracy. As the Syrian rebels navigate their newfound power, competing visions and internal divisions threaten their fragile alliances. Groups like the Kurdish-led forces and the Turkish-backed Syrian National Army are also seizing opportunities to solidify influence, while remnants of the Islamic State lurk as a persistent threat. Amidst this turmoil, HTS’s efforts to distance itself from its militant past, such as hosting a Christian mass in Idlib, are seen by many as calculated moves to gain legitimacy. However, its designation as a terrorist organization by the US and UN underscores the scepticism surrounding its transformation. The international stage adds another layer of complexity. With Russia, under Vladimir Putin, weakened by its war in Ukraine and Iran grappling with internal pressures, external powers are recalibrating their roles in Syria. US President-Elect Donald Trump has voiced a policy of non-interference, meanwhile, the rebels face mounting challenges: from addressing human rights concerns to proving their ability to govern. Whether groups like HTS can transcend their controversial past and emerge as a force for stability and democracy will define the future of Syria. Thanks for checking out our video! • Bovaer and the Arla Foods Controversy: Climate Change vs. Safety
    2025/01/12
Can Bovaer, the methane-reducing additive used in Arla Foods, tackle the climate impact of cow farts without compromising food safety? Bovaer, a methane-reducing feed additive developed by DSM-Firmenich, has become a flashpoint in the global conversation about sustainable farming. Designed to cut methane emissions from cows by up to 45%, Bovaer works by targeting the enzyme responsible for methane production during digestion. This groundbreaking technology has been tested for over a decade and is now trialed in 68 countries, including the UK, where Arla Foods is spearheading its integration on 30 farms. The milk from these trials is already being sold in major retailers like Tesco, Aldi and Morrisons, sparking concern among consumers. Supporters of Bovaer hail it as a vital step in reducing agriculture’s carbon footprint, especially in methane-heavy sectors like dairy. Yet, public unease remains high, largely fueled by questions about safety and transparency. Critics point to potential Bovaer side effects, especially concerning its active ingredient, 3Nitrooxypropanol (3-NOP). While experts emphasize that 3-NOP breaks down harmlessly in a cow’s digestive system, public trust has been shaken by reports of health risks for handlers and accusations of insufficient consumer education during the trials. Videos of shoppers discarding Lupak Butter and pouring out Cravendale Milk in protest highlight the growing divide between producers and consumers. Experts like Professor Chris Elliott argue that the benefits of Bovaer outweigh the risks, citing over 150 peer-reviewed studies confirming its safety and effectiveness. Still, they acknowledge the need for open communication and rigorous monitoring to build public trust. Arla Foods UK and DSM-Firmenich stress that the additive does not remain in milk or meat, ensuring food safety while helping address the climate crisis. Ultimately, the debate over Bovaer underscores the tension between innovation and trust in the food system. As farmers and scientists explore solutions to feed a growing population sustainably, the path forward must balance technological advances with the transparency and dialogue necessary to ensure widespread public support.
