• Episode 44 - Mötley Crüe, Marilyn Manson & Rob Zombie All Surprised Me
    2026/08/25
I wasn't expecting much from Mötley Crüe. I'd never seen Marilyn Manson live. And I've got my own opinions about Rob Zombie. Then I went to the shows... and apparently I was wrong about a few things. In episode 44, I recap two killer weeks of live rock & roll featuring Extreme, Tesla, Mötley Crüe, The Hu, Marilyn Manson and Rob Zombie. Mötley Crüe was better than I expected, Manson absolutely surprised me, and Rob Zombie once again proved he's one hell of a live performer. Plus, expensive concert booze, some world-class people-watching, and a public service announcement for dudes who insist on walking around concerts without shirts. Rock & roll. Loud guitars. Live shows. Questionable decisions.

  • Episode 43 - Congratulations... You're The Problem
    2026/08/04
Ever wonder why so many people hate going to the gym? Sometimes it's not the workout... it's the people. In this episode, I rant about the gym etiquette that seems to have disappeared. From the equipment hogs and selfie photographers to the loud grunters and people who spend more time on their phones than actually working out, we've all seen them. If you recognize yourself in this episode... stop it. Seriously.

  • Episode 42 - The Cliche Podcast Episode
    2026/07/27
This episode is packed with rock 'n' roll, concerts, and a few life updates. I'm talking about one of the greatest debut albums of all time as Guns N' Roses' Appetite for Destruction celebrates 39 years of changing rock music forever. Does it still deserve legendary status? I think so. I also recap an incredible week of live music, including Chicago & Styx on the Windy City Tour and Lynyrd Skynyrd—three legendary bands in one unforgettable week. Plus, I share another update on my book, where the writing stands, and what's coming next for both the book and the podcast. Pour yourself a drink, crank up some rock 'n' roll, and let's hang out.

  • Episode 40 - One Bus. A Thousand Stories.
    2026/06/21
This episode takes us behind the scenes of life on the road. My good friend Jeremy Owsley joins me for a few whiskeys as we talk about what it's really like being a rock 'n' roll tour bus driver. We cover everything from his favorite tour bus, the best truck stops in America, the ultimate truck stop food, life driving overnight, and some of the things that happen when your office is a 45-foot bus full of musicians. If you've ever wondered what life is really like behind the windshield while everyone else is watching the show, this episode gives you a backstage pass to a side of the music business most people never get to see. Grab a drink and join us for another episode filled with rock 'n' roll, whiskey, and plenty of stories from the road.

  • Episode 39 - Who the Hell is Bob?
    2026/06/10
Episode 39 is here, and for the first time in show history, the whiskey got benched. Why? Because the new podcast koozies arrived, and it seemed only right to break one in with an ice-cold Budweiser. This episode also includes the story of meeting Kid Rock, a deep dive into one of rock's greatest mysteries — "Who the hell is Bob?" — and some elite-level people watching that raised more questions than answers. Among the highlights: grown men confidently wearing cowboy boots with jean shorts, overalls making an unexpected comeback, and enough questionable fashion choices to fuel an entire episode by themselves. Pour yourself a drink (beer is acceptable this week), pull up a chair, and join me for another round of rock 'n' roll, whiskey... well, beer... and other stories.

    2026/05/27
Today I dive into dollar store chaos, hair metal bands Poison, Quiet Riot, and Vixen, plus the dangers of watching way too much true crime until every public bathroom feels like a crime scene waiting to happen. Rock ’n’ roll, paranoia, and questionable life choices… just another episode.

  • Episode 37 - But He Gave Us the Backstory About Wranglin Cattle
    2026/05/13
The Rolling Stones dropped new music, and they're still the greatest rock and roll band. I also hit the road to catch George Thorogood again and he absolutely crushed it, I wish I could say the same for The Marshall Tucker Band, and witnessed enough world-class people-watching to make me question everything I know about humanity.
