Today I started The Bible. The first of MANY sessions of reading out loud and evaluating the text as I go. Hopefully some grace will be given on my falterings as I haven't "read aloud" in many many years, and first time pronunciation of some names, places, etc is rough....
This is the beginning of sharing my search for God. As best I can understand God anyway. I have a LOT of work to do on this. Lots of reading of different religious, philosophical, and scientific texts and lots of pondering and meditations ahead. I'm not doing this to teach anything, to debate imperatives or absolutes, or to argue. I'm doing this to learn and try to understand. Full stop.
