    2025/07/28
Chad Gable has opened up about his injury.
During a Minnesota Twins game on Sunday Gable, who was wearing a sling on his arm, revealed that he was dealing with a rotator cuff injury.
“I’m looking at the silver lining here. I have a little injury to my rotator cuff. But what it did do was buy me some time off the road to be home with my family and do stuff like this, go to a baseball game on a Sunday which I never get to do. So find the bright side, right?”Gable mentioned one of his proudest moments recently was having a singles match at WrestleMania 40. Under his masked persona El Grande Americano, he defeated Rey Fenix in a singles match back in April.Gable has been out of action since June, when he was written out of Raw after Penta snapped his arm. It was reported at the time that he had undergone shoulder surgery.

  • 12 Big Stoke Has Lots to Say to His Enemies
    2025/07/27
During AEW Collision, Lexy Nair conducted an intense backstage interview with Big Stoke, who appeared visibly injured, using a crutch on his right side and accompanied by security guards. Stoke addressed his recent confrontations with Adam Copeland passionately.
Stoke began assertively, criticizing Copeland’s recent actions: "Lexy, I wanted this time to point out how supposed good guy Adam Copeland had to hire a bunch of goons to do his dirty work. Pathetic. I mean, Adam, I thought you were supposed to be a hero. A hero fights their own battles. A hero fights someone their own size, so why the hell do you keep chasing after me every week?"

Shifting his attention, Stoke praised FTR's resilience in the face of adversity: "Lexy, Hurt Syndicate attacked FTR after a grueling match and FTR looked them in the eyes and they stood tall. Now imagine what would've happened if FTR was at a hundred percent and imagine what's gonna happen when they win this tournament. Go to London and become 11-time world tag team champions."

Stoke then turned his criticism towards Austin Gunn and Juice Robinson: "But I know there are two people who are trying to stop us because they advanced tonight. Austin Gunn, Juice Robinson. Austin, if my brother got hurt, I mean, the last thing I'd be trying to do is find a replacement in Juice. And Juice, how does it feel knowing that you are a side piece? Not choice number one. And I'm gonna say the same thing that I'm gonna say when we're standing over your broken bodies next week. Top guys out."

As Stoke passionately gesticulated with his crutch, Lexy Nair incredulously asked, "Aren't you injured?"

    A good question, Lexy!

  • 16 Ring of Honor Women’s World Championship Athena def Alex Windsor
    2025/07/27
On AEW Collision, Athena successfully defended her Ring of Honor Women's World Championship against a tenacious Alex Windsor in a fiercely competitive match.
The match began with technical mat wrestling, quickly escalating when Athena stunned Windsor with a fierce punch to the face. Windsor responded assertively, executing a series of arm-drags and delivering solid boots to Athena in the corner. Athena momentarily regained control by pulling Windsor’s hair, only to be driven face-first into the mat. Windsor attempted consecutive slams, but Athena countered impressively, transitioning into a surprise headscissor maneuver that sent Windsor crashing face-first into the turnbuckle.

An intense exchange on the apron saw Windsor attempting a discus clothesline, but Athena swiftly ducked, executing a punishing back suplex onto the apron. Returning from commercial break, Windsor managed to regain momentum briefly, landing heavy blows. Athena fought back with a thrust kick followed by a breathtaking standing Spanish Fly transitioned into a Koji clutch. Windsor cleverly countered into a near fall, forcing Athena to break the submission.

Athena struck again with a powerful backdrop driver for another close two-count. As Athena ascended the top rope, Windsor intervened with a spectacular rising headbutt, setting up an attempted Blue Thunder Bomb. Windsor’s resilience shone as the battle moved outside, but Athena's ally Billie Starkz interfered, viciously slamming Windsor into the ring steps. Athena capitalized, landing a shotgun dropkick, crashing Windsor into the barricade. A brutal powerbomb from the barricade to the floor left Windsor vulnerable, and Athena finished decisively with her signature O-Face for the victory.

Post-match, Athena and Starkz continued their assault on Windsor, prompting chants for Toni Storm. Storm charged the ring heroically, delivering a Thesz Press to Athena and a hip attack in the corner. Starkz intervened with a clipboard shot, setting Storm up for an O-Face, but Windsor rallied, knocking Athena from the ropes. Windsor and Storm together fended off their attackers, sending Athena and Starkz retreating. The segment ended emphatically with Storm and Windsor sharing an enthusiastic handshake and mutual respect in the ring.

  • 8 Nick Wayne & Co. Are Officially No Longer the Patriarchy
    2025/07/27
During AEW Collision, Lexy Nair conducted an interview backstage with Nick Wayne, Mother Wayne, and Kip Sabian. Nair began by asking if they should still be referred to as "The Patriarchy," prompting an immediate response from Mother Wayne: "Lexi? Not now and never again."

Nick Wayne confidently stated, "You see, when you start to become the man of the house as well as a leader of men…" but was abruptly interrupted by AR Fox, who stormed into the scene, clearly agitated. Fox confronted Wayne directly, declaring, "Hey, hey, hey, hey, hey. Last week you said you was done talking, but you still here just talking. See? I came to Chicago for a fight. So how about y'all two face me and a partner tonight?"

Wayne, clearly irritated by Fox's challenge, retorted, "What do you want from me, Fox? You want me to staple another picture of your family to your face?" Fox remained defiant, coolly responding, "Okay. You could try."

As tensions escalated, Kip Sabian interjected calmly, advising Wayne, "Don't give him the satisfaction. If he wants to lose again, let him." Fox confidently replied, "Okay, we're gonna see who loses."

The segment concluded with a moment of unexpected tension as AR Fox casually acknowledged Wayne’s mother, "What up, Shayna?" This seemed to momentarily unsettle Nick Wayne, who was briefly rattled and confused by Fox's familiarity.

  • 1 TNT Championship Match Dustin Rhodes def. Lee Moriarty
    2025/07/27
AEW Collision kicked off from the Aragon Ballroom in thrilling fashion as Dustin Rhodes defended his TNT Championship for the first time against Ring of Honor Pure Champion Lee Moriarty.
Moriarty, accompanied by Shane Taylor, refused an opening handshake, setting an aggressive tone immediately. The bout opened with an exchange of technical holds, Moriarty capitalizing with swift dragon screw leg whips, targeting Rhodes' left knee relentlessly. Dustin fought through visible pain, rallying with stiff shots and a well-executed snap power slam, earning enthusiastic praise from Tony Schiavone: "Absolutely one of his great maneuvers!"

Late in the match, after exchanging strikes, Rhodes delivered an atomic drop but Moriarty quickly responded, locking Rhodes in a bow-and-arrow hold before viciously slamming his knee into the mat. Fighting back valiantly, Rhodes landed a Canadian Destroyer followed by the Cross-Rhodes, but Moriarty demonstrated impressive ring awareness by placing his foot on the ropes, breaking the pinfall attempt.

The momentum swung wildly as Moriarty locked in an ankle lock, grapevining Rhodes’ injured leg, nearly forcing a tap-out. Rhodes barely reached the ropes, demonstrating immense resilience. Moriarty then missed a big boot in the corner, leaving him vulnerable. Rhodes teased the Shattered Dreams, but was thwarted by referee Mike Posey. Moriarty capitalized instantly, landing a flying knee strike followed by a swift suplex, narrowly missing victory.

As Moriarty attempted a figure-four leglock, Rhodes countered brilliantly into a tight small package, securing the surprise three-count to retain the TNT Championship.

Immediately post-match, Kyle Fletcher, accompanied by Don Callis, entered the scene, confronting Rhodes. Fletcher confidently declared he had no reason to attack a beaten down Rhodes: "I already outclass you in every single way," demanding a one-on-one title shot for the TNT Championship next week. Rhodes, fueled by Fletcher’s recent disparaging comments about his family, turned to the fans for their approval before emphatically accepting Fletcher's challenge. Rhodes added an explosive stipulation: the match would be a Chicago Street Fight, punctuating his acceptance with a defiant declaration, "I am your huckleberry, bitch!"
