Indiana Football is preparing to face Minnesota, and the Golden Gophers might be a much more dangerous opponent than Hoosiers fans realize.

Minnesota enters the matchup with a 5-2 record and three victories over teams that were ranked when they played: Washington, Michigan and Iowa. Curt Cignetti's Indiana Hoosiers are coming off a 13-6 overtime victory against Michigan, but the offense still has questions to answer.

In today's Locked On Hoosiers HIT, Jacob Goins explains why Indiana fans shouldn't overlook PJ Fleck's Minnesota team, particularly its defense and secondary. With Josh Hoover and Indiana's passing game trying to regain their rhythm, this could be an important test before the Hoosiers' bye week.

Jacob also shares his three keys to an Indiana victory: protecting the football, establishing offensive rhythm early, and letting Indiana's defense dictate the game.

Can Indiana handle Minnesota comfortably, or will the Golden Gophers make this a much closer game than expected?

Indiana Basketball's backcourt might be better than fans originally expected. Markus Burton has struggled with his shooting during the exhibition season and suffered a finger injury against Western Kentucky, but Darian DeVries has provided an encouraging update. Meanwhile, Bryce Lindsay has emerged as one of the Hoosiers' most exciting offensive players.

In today's Locked On Hoosiers HIT, Jacob Goins explains why Indiana fans shouldn't write off Markus Burton before the regular season even begins. Burton's struggles are worth discussing, but Lindsay's impressive preseason performances could give DeVries more options than expected.

Lindsay scored 26 points against North Carolina and 20 against Western Kentucky, and DeVries has discussed giving him starter-level minutes even if he comes off the bench. What happens if both Burton and Lindsay become major contributors? Could Indiana have one of the Big Ten's most dangerous backcourts?

Jacob also discusses Indiana's other guards, the importance of improved perimeter defense, and why the starting lineup may matter less than the combinations DeVries uses throughout games.

Do you think Markus Burton and Bryce Lindsay can both thrive in Indiana's backcourt?

Curt Cignetti just praised one of Indiana Football's most impressive defensive players: Tobi Osunsanmi. The Kansas State transfer has recorded nine sacks through eight games, and his impact on the Hoosiers' defensive line has been enormous.

In today's Locked On Hoosiers HIT, Jacob Goins breaks down Osunsanmi's breakout season, Cignetti's praise for his technique, leadership and development, and why Indiana's pass rush has become such an important part of the team's success.

Indiana recently held Michigan to just six points while recording four sacks, another impressive performance for Bryant Haines' defense. Alongside players such as Tyrique Tucker, Mario Landino and Joe Hjelle, Osunsanmi is helping make Indiana's defensive front one of the team's biggest strengths.

Jacob explains how pressure on opposing quarterbacks helps Indiana's secondary, why Osunsanmi has exceeded expectations since transferring from Kansas State, and how his continued production could help the Hoosiers pursue another championship.

Is Tobi Osunsanmi Indiana's most important defensive player this season?
