Hello everyone...welcome to the Enlisted to Corporate podcast! My name is Eddie Ferguson, and I just wanted to take a few minutes to introduce myself. I'm a retired Air Force Master Sergeant, and I was active duty for 23 years. I retired in 2013 and I've been in the civilian sector ever since I retired. I live in Houston, Texas, and there's not much of a military presence, so I had to fully transition into being a civilian. And it was hard!

I've been a hiring manager or very involved in resume reviews in the Oil and Gas, Chemicals, Manufacturing, and Maritime industries, and I just transitioned into the Banking industry. I changed jobs about every 2 to 3 years, mostly to meet career goals or to challenge myself as I completed some type of training or degree programs. I know how hard it is to transition, so I have made it my mission to apply for jobs, redo my resume, and interview as much as I can for various jobs to see what works and what doesn't work. And now, I want to share that with you.

That's the whole point of this podcast. I'm not only going to share that information, but I'm also going to have other hiring managers, recruiters, HR personnel, and successful veterans so that you can learn from the best.
