I used to believe accidents weren’t real—because where I grew up, every “accident” had consequences big enough to change lives. Mistakes felt like disobedience. Disobedience felt like failure. And failure? That was never safe. Now as a mom, I’m seeing how that mindset shows up in my reactions—especially when something minor (but wildly inconvenient) happens. Like, how dare this coffee spill and ruin my morning vibe?
In this episode, we’re going down the rabbit hole of childhood conditioning, control issues, and what it really means to reprogram our minds. Spoiler: it involves giving ourselves and others permission to mess up, without spiraling. I’m talking grace over perfection, breathing over breakdowns, and asking the hard (but healing) questions when your head feels like it might explode. Let's talk about what it means to expect less perfection and more presence—from ourselves and everyone else.
Because accidents? They’re not failure—they’re just life.
