Summary
In *Terrin: Magic’s Law*, Toby is just now figuring his life out. Now in his thirties, he’s found some stability as a restaurant manager, is mending his relationship with his dad, and is no longer living paycheck to paycheck. But even with these improvements, he still feels a bit stuck.
Everything changes during a Christmas shopping trip with friends when Toby begins to see a mysterious woman everywhere, making him question his sanity. What he doesn’t realize is that his friends are actually magical protectors from another world—and that he’s meant to lead a group known as the Zarna.
When Toby learns about his past and his connection to the Zarna, he transforms into Terrin, a dragon-like humanoid and the first of his kind. With his friends by his side, Terrin sets off on an epic quest to a magical realm, where he must rescue his kidnapped younger brother from demons and save a world he barely understands.
