このコンテンツについて
In Part 2 of the Stone Mountain Story, Krish picks up where we left off — the spring of 2014. What started as one man’s search for purpose after sobriety turned into something so much bigger.
After watching a powerful video of a young girl named Carolyn battling Ewing’s Sarcoma, Krish began climbing Stone Mountain weekly, starting a small “Monday Sunset Hiking Club.” On Easter Sunday, April 20th, he joined hundreds for the sunrise service — a moment that sparked the idea to keep climbing.
In April, he learned about the Atlanta-based nonprofit CURE Childhood Cancer, ran his first-ever 5K — Lauren’s Run— wearing a homemade “Praying for Carolyn” shirt (misspelling and all), and by June 2nd, 2014, committed to an incredible challenge: 100 climbs in 90 days.
This episode captures the early steps of faith, courage, and calling — before there was a movement, a website, or a banner. Just a man, a mountain, and a mission.
