In episode 29, I do a solocast about the necessary process of emotional detoxing. If you’re struggling emotionally, this may shed light on how to go through this process of true self-care which is to resolve negative, trapped feelings. I share my experience of how a health crisis led me to the realization that my unresolved emotions were at the root of my illness. By going through this process, I learned how to transmute my pain into clarity and I wanted to share this with you. I cover why you need to do an emotional detox, the signs that indicate that you might need one, and what habits to cultivate so you can learn to regulate your feelings in future. Addressing the physical body, taking time for solitude completely away from your normal routine, movement, breathwork, grounding through nature, and divine connection are some of the components to getting back to emotional equilibrium.
