Can you believe it girls? We're embarking on our first memoir written by one of the "Real Housewives of New York City." It happens to be the best-selling Bravo memoir of all time, as well as the most critically acclaimed — because it was written before its author was on reality TV.

Yes, it's "What Remains" by Carole Radziwill: the story of Carole losing her husband, her best friend and her cousin-in-law, all in one summer. And as the Summer of Housewives Book Club gives way to autumn, so will we allow the comedic value of this podcast to perish in favor of examining tragic, unexpected death from every possible angle.
