このコンテンツについて
Have you ever been fooled by something that looked real but wasn't? As artificial intelligence becomes increasingly sophisticated, Christians face new challenges in discerning truth from deception online.
In this thought-provoking episode, I share my own encounter with an AI-generated video that attempted to portray a church leader in a controversial situation. The experience highlighted how easy it can be to fall for digital fakery if we're not equipped with proper discernment. We explore what AI actually is—a computer's ability to learn patterns and make decisions like "a fast learner who never sleeps, but without wisdom or morals." Unlike humans with souls and the Holy Spirit's guidance, AI simply processes what it's been fed without moral judgment.
For believers, the implications are significant. While technology itself is neutral—a tool like the printing press that can spread both truth and falsehood—our approach to it must be grounded in biblical wisdom. James 1:5 reminds us to ask God for wisdom, which becomes especially crucial as we navigate content that appears to offer spiritual teaching but may be artificially generated. In this episode I provide practical guidance for developing digital discernment.
