"The merit he received on his death of hearing the Shivpuran when the Yam Lok's messengers or the Yamraj's messengers took him to Yamraj's abode, Shiv Ganas came there and took him to Shivlok. I also look at it in a way that when we read these stories which are steeped in surrender and love for Shiv and Shiva his consort, then there's a shift in our mindset that happens and in our actions."

"So the introductory note, it was really, really decent and it opens up the text in a much, much better manner, I would say. Talking about the divinities. In the first section or like the first page as I may call it, it talks about the incarnate, the practically incarnate, connecting nature, talking about Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati on really, really nice notes wherein they talk about raven rage and famine that took place, water becomes horse and everything moving ahead."

"For example, Krishna and Rukmini embody Sringarasu, which is the aesthetic of love and beauty, while the story of Satyavan and Savitri is infused with Karuna Rasu, the aesthetic of compassion. Each pairing is not just an academic classification, but it is a nuanced exploration of how emotions define the dynamics between these mythological figures. So a striking parallel emerges with Abhinavagupta's interpretation of Rasa as an experiential state that transcends mere emotion and elevates the connoisseur towards a higher realization."
