  • The Real Reason You're Exhausted (And It's NOT Your Sleep)

You slept 7 or 8 hours. You did everything right. You still woke up exhausted, and your tracker says your sleep was fine, which somehow made it worse.

For most exhausted people, more sleep is not the answer. Exhaustion is about whether your body can produce energy at all, not how many hours you spent in bed.

In this episode, I'm going to explain what is actually driving your exhaustion, why fixing your sleep did not fix the tiredness, and the simple $20 blood test almost no one gets offered that can change everything.

0:35 The 37 year pattern I keep seeing
1:05 How your life gets smaller one event at a time
1:58 What exhaustion actually is inside your cells
2:50 Why gut bacteria control your energy supply
3:25 Why your brain feels it first
4:04 The wired but exhausted feeling explained
4:51 The autoimmune connection almost no one checks
5:45 Why your doctor skips this test
6:43 The exact test to ask for next

    ❓ QUESTIONS ANSWERED

Q: Why am I still exhausted even after fixing my sleep?
A: For many people, exhaustion is not caused by poor sleep but by a breakdown in how the body's mitochondria produce energy. Fixing sleep does not fix a problem that was never about sleep in the first place.

Q: What test should I ask for if I am always tired?
A: Ask your doctor for a TPO antibody test, which checks for Hashimoto's thyroiditis, an autoimmune condition behind most cases of hypothyroidism. It costs about 20 dollars and is rarely ordered even though it explains a lot of unexplained fatigue.

Q: Can autoimmune thyroid disease cause brain fog and exhaustion?
A: Yes. The brain uses about 25 percent of your body's energy, so when energy production drops due to an autoimmune thyroid issue, the brain and muscles feel it first as brain fog and heavy exhaustion.

  • STOP Taking These 3 Supplements If You're Always Exhausted
    2026/10/01

Open your supplement cupboard right now. Count how many bottles are half empty. You did not stop taking those because you got better. You stopped because deep down you could tell they were not working, but you never figured out why, so you just moved on to the next bottle and the next promise.

In this episode, I'm going to break down the three supplements I see most often in exhausted patients' cabinets, explain exactly why each one fails to fix the real problem, and tell you what to do instead.

    ⏱️ TIMESTAMPS
0:00 STOP Taking These 3 Supplements If You're Always Exhausted
    0:29 3 supplements I'd remove first
1:14 Why probiotics fail with autoimmune gut issues
    2:35 Prebiotics vs probiotics explained
2:50 Why mitochondria energy supplements backfire
4:02 The truth about brain and focus supplements
    5:00 The Jumpstart assessment option
5:19 The one mistake all three supplements share
6:15 What actually happens when you stop taking them
7:18 What to do tonight instead

    ❓ QUESTIONS ANSWERED

Why do probiotics not work for autoimmune disease or Hashimoto's?
Most autoimmune guts have an inflamed lining and an altered bacterial environment, so probiotic bacteria cannot survive there long enough to colonize. The gut actually needs prebiotics to feed and grow the beneficial bacteria that already live there naturally, rather than shipping in outside bacteria from a capsule that gets flushed out within days.

Why do energy and mitochondria supplements make fatigue worse over time?
Your mitochondria are not broken, they are intentionally turned down because your body senses it is not safe to spend energy freely while it is fighting inflammation. Energy supplements act like a whip that forces short term output by overriding that protective signal, but you pay for it later with worse crashes, more inflammation, and a body that trusts you even less the next time.

Is it safe to stop taking supplements that are not working?
Stopping supplements that show no clear benefit after two weeks is a reasonable way to find out if they were ever helping in the first place. If you feel worse after stopping, that tells you something specific about which one was actually doing work, and if you feel no different, you just saved yourself money and a wasted daily habit.

  • Brain Fog? These 3 Things Are Essential to Fix It (Do Them in This Order)
    2026/09/24

📌 Learn more about our approach to autoimmune healing: https://www.coherencehealth.io

You lost a word mid sentence and covered like nothing happened, laughing it off so no one would notice. You walk into a room and forget why you're there. A neighbor's name just vanishes, right when you need it most. This is not aging. This is brain fog, and it is one of the most common complaints I hear from patients with autoimmune disease. There is a specific order to fixing it, and almost everyone gets that order backwards, which is exactly why so many people feel like they have tried everything and nothing worked.

In this episode, I'm going to walk through the three things that actually lift brain fog, and the exact order they need to happen in for them to work.

    ⏱️ TIMESTAMPS
0:00 Brain Fog? These 3 Things Are Essential to Fix It (Do Them in This Order)
0:36 What brain fog actually is
1:24 Step one, cut sugar and gluten
2:20 Why this step comes first
2:50 Step two, the right kind of exercise
3:33 Why movement is second, not first
3:54 Step three, healing the gut lining
4:40 What actually heals the lining
5:36 The order most people get wrong
6:23 A patient who tried everything except this order

    ❓ QUESTIONS ANSWERED

What causes brain fog in autoimmune disease?
Brain fog happens when your brain gets less energy than it needs to function clearly. Gluten and sugar damage the gut lining, trigger inflammation, and interfere with metabolism, cutting off the fuel your brain depends on most and leaving you foggy, forgetful, and mentally slow.

What is the right order to fix brain fog naturally?
Start by removing sugar and gluten for a period of weeks so the gut lining has a chance to calm down. Once that foundation is in place, add gentle, consistent exercise, and only after that work on directly healing the gut lining with targeted nutrients. Doing all three at once, or starting with gut healing first, is why most people say nothing worked even though they tried the right things.

How long does it take to notice improvement in brain fog?
Many people notice sharper focus and fewer memory lapses within about ten days of cutting sugar and gluten. Full energy recovery and lasting mental clarity can take a few months, especially in patients who had years of gut damage before starting, but the improvement builds steadily when the steps are followed in the correct order.

  • Doctor EXPOSES the Truth About Autoimmune Disease [No One Else Will Say This]
    2026/09/17

📌 Free Class with Patrick Hanaway, MD:: https://www.joincoherence.com/

Your immune system has not turned against you. It is responding to a message that got garbled somewhere along the way, and that message starts in a place almost nobody thinks to look. Most people with Hashimoto's spend years being told their labs are fine while their body keeps sending out distress signals nobody is tracing back to the source.

In this episode, I'm going to explain why autoimmune conditions like Hashimoto's are not your body attacking itself for no reason, and what is actually driving the immune response underneath.

    ⏱️ TIMESTAMPS
0:00 Doctor EXPOSES the Truth About Autoimmune Disease [No One Else Will Say This]
0:38 What autoimmune antibody testing really shows
1:12 The real reason your immune system reacts
2:12 How your gut talks to your brain
3:21 Why treating symptoms never fixes the root cause
4:07 The leaky gas tank analogy explained
4:56 Real patient case: from 20% to 80% energy
6:18 What actually shapes your gut environment
7:00 The real root cause of autoimmune disease

    ❓ QUESTIONS ANSWERED

Q: Is autoimmune disease really your body attacking itself?
A: Not exactly. Your immune system is reacting correctly to a danger signal that started somewhere else in the body, most often the gut, and the antibodies your doctor tests for are a marker of that response, not the original cause.

Q: Why doesn't treating thyroid hormones fix Hashimoto's symptoms?
A: Thyroid hormone replacement addresses a downstream symptom, not the upstream gut signal driving the immune response. Many people still feel unwell even after their thyroid numbers normalize because the gut lining that triggered the immune reaction in the first place was never repaired.

Q: What actually influences the gut signals linked to autoimmune disease?
A: Diet, sleep, movement, time outdoors, and even contact with pets all shape the gut environment that sends signals to your brain and immune system. Small daily habits compound over months into either a calmer immune system or a more reactive one.
