Grown and Becoming is a steady, thoughtful podcast for adults in the second half of life who are learning how to love and believe differently without losing themselves in the process. Hosted by Tina, this space explores emotional maturity, relationships, spiritual growth, boundaries, reinvention, and the quiet courage it takes to start again. They are honest, regulated, grounded dialogues about faith, love, accountability, and becoming who you are slowly, intentionally, and safely. If you are rebuilding, recalibrating, or redefining what faith and love look like now — you are welcome here.Tina Body 心理学 心理学・心の健康 衛生・健康的な生活

  • Have They Told You, You've Changed?
    2026/09/07

What happens when you start healing and suddenly some of your relationships feel different?

Maybe you are saying no more often. Maybe you are explaining yourself less. Maybe behaviors you once tolerated bother you now. Maybe people who were comfortable with the old version of you seem uncomfortable with the woman you are becoming.

That does not automatically mean you have "outgrown" everyone, become more spiritually mature than them, or need to cut people off.

    Sometimes healing improves relationships.

Sometimes it exposes patterns that were already there.

And sometimes you are the person who still needs to learn how to communicate differently. In this episode, we talk honestly about boundaries, relational patterns, truth in love, changing expectations, and how to discern whether a relationship needs repair, adjustment, distance or simply a better conversation.

  • Not Every Relationship Is Meant to Stay the Same
    2026/08/31

Learning the difference between growing together, growing apart, and letting go with wisdom.

One of the hardest parts of healing is realizing that not every relationship grows with you. Some relationships become stronger, some become strained, and some simply become different.

How do we know when a relationship is experiencing normal growing pains and when it's revealing a deeper pattern?

    In this episode we explore:

    • Why change creates pressure in relationships
    • The difference between conflict and unhealthy patterns
    • Healthy repair versus repeated cycles
    • Biblical wisdom about truth, peace and discernment
    • Questions to help you evaluate relationships honestly

This episode is educational and reflective. It is not therapy, legal advice, or pastoral counseling.

  • When Healing Changes Your Relationships
    2026/08/24

Why your growth can make other people uncomfortable and what to do about it.

One of the most unexpected parts of healing is realizing that your relationships don't always change with you. As you grow, set healthier boundaries and begin speaking more honestly, some relationships become stronger.

    Others become strained.

That doesn't automatically mean you're doing something wrong. It also doesn't automatically mean every relationship should end.

    In today's episode we'll explore:

    • why healing changes relationships dynamics
    • why some people celebrate your growth while others resist it.
    • The difference between discomfort and dysfunction
    • What Ephesians 4 teaches about speaking truth in love
    • Questions to help you discern whether a relationship is growing or simply reacting to change.
