Pathos, which is emotional appeal was a central strategy in Jesus' speaking. Emotions provide the "flesh" for the logical framework backbone of ideas in the 4 "E"s
Elaboration (evoke feelings), Emotional impact (empathy and impact of an argument joy, fear, hope etc), Examples (vivid descriptions) and Effectiveness (lived experiences) .
Pathos is crucial because the goal of kingdom speaking is not to "tell" but to INSPIRE obedience, a response, and faith!
