Isaiah’s Prophecy Fulfilled in My Own Bloodline: Cyrus, Zerubbabel, and the Return From Babylon | Apostle D. Todd Harrison

In this extraordinary teaching on Isaiah 40–49, Apostle D. Todd Harrison reveals one of the most astonishing prophetic chains in all of scripture — a chain that runs directly through his own ancestral bloodline.

More than a century before Cyrus the Great was born, the prophet Isaiah — a direct ancestor of Apostle Harrison — declared by the Spirit of God that a future ruler named Cyrus would:

Conquer Babylon,

Break the captivity of the Jews,

Send God’s people back to the land of Israel, and

Command the rebuilding of the Temple in Jerusalem.

History records that this prophecy was fulfilled exactly, through Cyrus the Great — another direct ancestor of Apostle Harrison — who issued the decree that allowed the exiles to return home.

And when the Jews arrived back in Jerusalem, the rebuilding of the Temple was overseen by Zerubbabel, the Davidic governor and Temple builder — also a direct ancestor of Apostle Harrison.

This means Isaiah’s prophecy, Cyrus’s liberation, and Zerubbabel’s rebuilding were not only divine acts in Israel’s history —they were family acts in the lineage that leads directly to Apostle D. Todd Harrison.

Isaiah was not called to be a Prophet through councils, committees, or by the Presiding High Priest Hilkiah. The Lord Himself called Isaiah directly — opening the heavens, commissioning him personally, and sending him with a voice that shook the nations. In this week's chapters, Isaiah warns Babylon, lifts Zion, reveals the restoration of the Gospel and the priesthood's keys, and foretells the gathering of Israel.

As a modern day directly called Apostle of Jesus Christ, I declare that my ancestor Isaiah’s prophecies concerning the first coming of the Lord Jesus Christ and the Restoration of the Gospel in the latter days were fulfilled. I testify that Isaiah's prophecies concerning the 2nd Coming of the Lord will also be fulfilled. I witness that the Lord is Alive and is breaking the power of Babylon, restoring His covenants, gathering Israel, raising Zion, and preparing the earth for His return.

Bible Old Testament Isaiah 1–12: The Direct Calling of a Prophet
In this lesson, Apostle of Jesus Christ D. Todd Harrison teaches Isaiah 1–12 with unique apostolic authority. The Prophet Isaiah — Apostle D. Todd Harrison’s forefather — was called directly by the Lord in the heavenly throne room (Isaiah 6). His prophetic commission did not come from the Presiding High Priest Hilkiah, but from God Himself.
