Adam and Eve stepped into mortality with faith, courage, and understanding, rejoicing in the Savior who would redeem them.

I testify that the fulness of the Gospel of Jesus Christ was taught to Adam and Eve, and to their children by holy angels. The doctrine of Christ—faith, repentance, baptism, the Holy Ghost, and enduring to the end—was established from the beginning. Satan has always sought to destroy this truth, but the Lord has restored it in every dispensation and has restored it again in our own day.
