Christian mental health isn't a side topic here — it's the whole point of Jesus' words in John 14:1, "Don't let your hearts be troubled." Pastor Jacob Boehm opens with a story about how "camping" has quietly turned into a luxury lifestyle, and uses it to ask an uncomfortable question: are we treating this troubled, temporary world as if it's our permanent home?

From there he brings in the numbers — one in five Australians experiencing a mental health disorder in the past year, nearly 40% of 16-to-24-year-olds battling anxiety or depression — and grounds the hope of heaven (John 14:1-3, Hebrews 11:13-16, Revelation 21) as a real, practical answer to a troubled heart, not a distraction from it.

The message also pushes past comfort into consistency: do our actions — our search history, our group chats, our everyday choices — actually match what we say we believe?
