ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Marlon Walters is an enthusiastic communicator and educator with more than a decade’s experience teaching adolescents, adults, and young learners in both Jamaica and Japan. A graduate of Northern Caribbean University and El Instituto Venezolano para La Cultura y La Cooperación, his lifelong ambition is to impact lives positively. As such, he enjoys writing songs, poems, and other literary pieces to motivate his audiences to achieve their best.

Marlon’s fascination with writing started during his years as a high school student. During those years, he developed a keen interest in feature stories, human interest stories, and documentaries. One of his most vivid recollections is of a series, Hill an’ Gully Ride, which “took the audience on a weekly trip across Jamaica’s beautiful countryside to meet the people of all ages and levels; where they lived, worked, worshiped and played.”

It was that interest which led him to major in Mass Communication as an undergraduate. Since the completion of his undergraduate studies, he has worked predominantly as an educator. He believes working as an educator provides a unique opportunity to shape young minds for the future.

Marlon is also the Producer/Host of Upward Way Podcast, a weekly production aired on Adventist World Radio (AWR).

Kristal Chalmers, lives in Alberta, Canada with her husband and three children. Kristal is about to complete her MA degree in Counseling. She is also a worship singer. Her new impactful and beautiful song, Running Back to You, shares her journey from clergy abuse to grace and liberation through Christ Jesus.

Kristal says, "I believe it's crucial to shine a light on this issue, not to tear down the Church because I deeply love the Church and want to see it become a truly safe and healing space for all."

licensed and ordained minister of the gospel. He has over 25 years of ministry

experience. At Lite The Fire Training Center, Surprise, Arizona, he networks with

intercessors to pray strategically for local, national and global concerns.

Maria Woodworth Etter was known as the “Mother of Pentecost” or

“Grandmother of the Pentecostal Movement”. Maria's ministry style influenced

Pentecostalism and the Charismatic movement in the 1800’s.

Theo Milford is a gifted contemporary gospel vocalist and praise and worship leader with a heart for inspiring others through music. Originally from Jamaica, West Indies, Theo grew up in a Christian home where his passion for music ministry was nurtured as he deepened his relationship with Christ. Currently serving as a worship leader at Community Praise Center in Alexandria, VA, Theo brings a spirit of authenticity and devotion to his ministry. He has been happily married to his wife, and together they are blessed with three children. Theo is in the process of releasing his debut worship album, which reflects his unwavering desire to use his God-given talents to share the message of hope and healing. Noel Robinson

For Noel Robinson - influential songwriter, recording artist and pioneer of the UK gospel music community - a commitment to local church has always played a pivotal role in his life and career which now spans 30+ years of ministry.

Growing up, Noel was encouraged to contribute to Sunday worship following the example set by his father, also a musician. Missionary Pastor, David Cota, celebrates his 50th year anniversary in ministry this year in 2024. Pastor David Cota preaches in native and non-native churches and organizes teams from various churches to build projects on Arizona Indian reservations.
