    Christian D. Larson wrote many books. Some of my favorites are The Great Within, The Ideal Made Real, and the one mentioned in this episode is Your Forces and How to Use Them. Although his books are not specifically about hypnosis, they explain the mind and how to impress it so beautifully and clearly. They are some of my favorite writings.


    In this mini session, I break down a poem of Larson's known as The Optimist Creed and read it in the form of a meditation that you'll surely enjoy.

    I streamed this session live, and now I am sharing it with you. We get started with conscious vs unconscious style hypnotic induction, inspired by and pieces borrowed from the great Mike Mandel. I first experienced it while doing continuing education in his hypnosis academy, and it tranced me through the floor, as he would say.


    I thought it would be appropriate, especially in the context of healthy weight, as it gently introduces the idea of making changes under the surface with ease and flow.
