  • Does God Really Want to Answer Your Prayers? Jesus Already Settled That | He's Better Than You Think (S4E7)
    2026/09/04

Have you ever prayed and quietly wondered — does God actually want to answer this? Is He really listening? Or is there some reason He won't come through for me this time?

In this episode of Face to Face with God, Rick Osborne tackles the question most Christians are afraid to say out loud — and answers it with one of the most powerful arguments in all of Scripture. If Jesus is the exact expression of the Father, then everything Jesus did on earth is a direct window into how the Father responds to you when you pray.

Rick walks through the Gospels scene by scene — the disciples Jesus chose who had already been overlooked, the woman caught in adultery He refused to condemn, the leper He touched and told "I am willing," the widow's dead son He raised without anyone even asking, the huge crowds He healed every single one of — and builds an airtight case: Jesus never turned anyone away. Not once. And since He was doing exactly what the Father would do, neither will the Father turn you away.

This episode is for anyone who has been held back from prayer by shame, unworthiness, or the quiet suspicion that God might not answer — and needs to see, once and for all, just how good the Father really is.

He never condemns. He never shames. He never ignores. He never requires you to earn it. He never turns you away. He wants what you want for you — more than you do.

  • She Said God's Name on a Hilltop — And He Came | Riley Kehoe | Supernatural Prayer Stories
    2026/09/02

Riley Kehoe grew up on a farm in New Zealand learning to hear God's voice the way most kids learn to ride a bike — naturally, practically, and with a chocolate bar involved.

That foundation was tested when she was 10 years old. On the worst day of her life. In a moment that 230,000 people did not survive.

What Riley did in that moment — and what God did in response — became the conviction she has built her entire life on: God is always speaking. And small acts of obedience change everything.

In this episode of Supernatural Prayer Stories, Rick Osborne sits down with Riley Kehoe — tsunami survivor, bestselling author of Three Seconds of Courage, and co-host of the You're Called for More podcast — for one of the most extraordinary conversations this show has ever had.

Three stories. Each one more remarkable than the last. You're going to want to hear all of them.

  • Shame Is the Devil's Tool — And Jesus Already Took It | He's Better Than You Think (S4E6)
    2026/08/28

"You'll never change. God must be disappointed in me. People would reject me if they really knew me. I'm not enough."

Have you ever heard that voice? That's shame. And according to Scripture, it has absolutely nothing to do with your Father.

In this deeply personal and powerfully liberating episode of Face to Face with God, Rick Osborne traces shame all the way back to its origin — the moment Adam and Eve's eyes were opened in the garden — and shows you exactly how Jesus went to the cross to take it away forever. Not just your sin. Your shame.

Rick opens with one of the most overlooked details in the entire Genesis account: before the Fall, Adam and Eve were naked and not ashamed — spirit, soul, and body, fully known and fully unafraid. The moment sin entered, everything changed. Their eyes were opened — not to something good, but to something devastating. They saw who they no longer were. And the very first thing Adam said to God wasn't "I sinned." It was "I was afraid because I was naked and I hid myself."

The devil introduced shame to separate mankind from God. And he's still using the same pre-cross lie post-cross — whispering into the ears of forgiven, redeemed, blood-bought believers: hide yourself.

    In this episode Rick unpacks:

    • Why "naked and not ashamed" in Genesis 2 isn't primarily about clothing — it's about the total openness and connection Adam and Eve had with God and each other before sin entered
    • The Hebrew words for shame, disgrace, and confounded — and how they describe the three directions shame attacks: how we feel about ourselves, how we feel before God, and how we feel before other people
    • Isaiah 54:4-5 — one of the most stunning New Covenant prophecies in all of Scripture — where God says to His people: "Fear not, for you will not be ashamed... you will forget the shame of your youth... for your Maker is your husband"
    • Why Jesus hung naked on the cross — not as an accident of Roman execution, but as a deliberate act of taking our shame so we would never have to bear it again
    • John 17:22 — Jesus's high priestly prayer where He says "the glory you have given me, I have given to them" — returning to us what Adam lost, and then some
    • Ephesians 1:17-20 and the prayer for eyes to be opened — not to see who we are not, but to see who we now are in Christ: called, inherited, raised, and seated in heavenly places
    • Why the answer to shame is never to hide from God — it's to run toward Him, thank Him for the forgiveness already given, and refuse to stay in Adam one more day

Rick closes with one of the most direct, Spirit-led prayers in the series — speaking restoration over every listener, declaring shame gone, and calling every believer back to the garden.

God never told you to be ashamed. The very first thing He said when shame showed up was: "Who told you that you were naked?" It wasn't Him. It was never Him.
