Dr. Hewlin is on faculty at McGill University’s Desautels Faculty of Management in Montreal, Quebec, with a specialization in organizational behavior. She was previously on faculty at Georgetown University in the McDonough School of Business. Dr. Hewlin holds a PhD in Organizational Behavior as well as an MBA in finance from New York University’s Stern School of Business. Dr. Hewlin’s work focuses on how organization members and leaders engage in authentic self-expression, as well as factors that impede authenticity in every day work interactions. She translates her research findings to help leaders, employees and students leverage diversity in the workplace, acknowledge and address personal bias, and thrive during organizational change.
