Look at that! After recording the first episode of GOLDEN JAWGUST last night, I decided to get up extra early and record today's episode first thing in the morning!

Okay, I didn't "decide" as much as my dog told me it was time to wake up - but instead of just reading on the deck with my coffee I took the time to talk about the next four minutes of JAWS!

We learn Chrissie's fate (it's not good), we meet the Brody's as they prepare for their first summer - and we learn that we are in the town of Amity. And as you know Amity means friendship...

And although I wasn't reading on my back deck - I still did have my morning coffee. Yes, today's episode was literally fueled my friend Judah's family's coffee company Ember Coffee. He's been a listener of my podcasts for quite some time and reached out to ask if I wanted to try some. What am I going to say NO to free coffee!!? And OF COURSE I'm going to mention it one of my shows - just so happens JAWGUST was the next show on the docket and it helps that I got up so, so, so early to record for all of you.

I'm baaaack! Yes after five years (not including those one-offs I did) the month long celebration of JAWS is back! JAWGUST returns with a new format! Every day in Aug...I mean, JAWGUST, I will be talking about four minutes of JAWS as we take an entire month to watch the 1975 Steven Spielberg masterpiece.

Today I discuss the first four minutes of the movie that includes the opening credits, some lady talking about an amputee, and a girl who seems to be having a great time swimming.

I'm excited to spend the month with you as we revisit Amity to celebrate the 50th anniversary of one of the greatest movies of all time - JAWS.

Wait, it's not March! What is going on? Well my friends - what is going on is the first ever Marchy McBonus episode as today your incredibly handsome and modest host went to see "Back to the Future: The Musical" in Boston.

And while he was planning on going with Mrs. Geek Mentality - she was not feeling well so I tagged in my friend and Marchy McFly veterans Eric to come with me. And he got me an awesome gift!

My only request was that he had to record an episode of Marchy McFly with me in the car. And we did just that. And then I lost all of that audio and most of everything I recorded with him
