Dr. Amy Cardinal Christian is a wildfire scientist who works across Canada and internationally to promote Indigenous-led approaches to wildfire, land stewardship, and emergency response. She is Metis, lives in Treaty 6 near Rocky Mountain House Alberta, and is the senior wildfire policy advisor with Indigenous Leadership Initiative.
