概要

Have you spent years living in survival mode?

Does anxiety feel like your baseline?

Have you lived a life of people-pleasing, self-abandoning, and staying quiet just to keep the peace?

This podcast is an invitation to pause — and rebuild from awareness.

I’m Angie Marie, an Authenticity and Lifestyle Coach and creator of the SoulSet guided self-coaching app. I spent most of my life in survival mode, sacrificing my character and integrity for acceptance and love. I was deeply disconnected from myself and consumed by anxiety until I was forced out of a lifestyle and relationship rooted in narcissism and manipulation.

Like many women, I tried surface-level fixes — distractions, overworking, and focusing on the outside — still searching for validation and relief.

Everything changed when I surrendered to the hard work of healing. I began facing my past and understanding why I allowed what I once thought was normal. Through building awareness across all areas of my life, I found inner peace, rebuilt self-confidence, developed real self-love, and created a deep connection with God.

If you’re ready to reconnect with your true self, stop people-pleasing for validation, and build an identity rooted in confidence and self-love —

Grab your hot coffee, your fuzzy blanket, find a soft place to cozy in, and let’s get started.

  • EP. 43 | How Forgiveness Heals the Nervous System After Betrayal
    2026/02/25

Have you ever heard that the worst thing you can do to yourself is hate someone else?

In this episode, we explore how unforgiveness keeps you stuck in survival mode — and how forgiveness regulates your nervous system.

When you replay betrayal, manipulation, or narcissistic abuse in your mind, your body responds as if it’s happening again. Chronic stress, inflammation, hypervigilance, anxiety, and emotional exhaustion are often signs of nervous system dysregulation tied to unresolved resentment.

    Forgiveness is not weakness.
    It’s regulation.

    In this conversation, we cover:

    • The connection between forgiveness and nervous system healing
    • How chronic anger fuels stress and inflammation
    • Why holding resentment keeps you in fight-or-flight
    • A personal journal entry on releasing betrayal
    • A Christian perspective on grace and letting go of vengeance

    Scripture referenced:

    • Ephesians 4:31–32
    • Romans 12:19

    Forgiveness does not mean reconciliation.
It means releasing the emotional charge so your body can return to safety.

If you’re healing from betrayal, childhood wounds, people-pleasing, or emotional trauma — this episode will help you understand why letting go is about reclaiming your peace, your health, and your future.

    2026/02/18

    Why did the podcast change?

In this episode, Angie Marie shares the story behind the rebrand and how the evolution of From Survival & Anxiety to Self-Love mirrors the healing journey itself.

If you’ve been living in survival mode, managing high-functioning anxiety, people pleasing, or quietly self-abandoning just to keep everything together — this conversation is for you.

    Angie opens up about:

    • Waiting almost a year to record her first episode
    • Launching before she felt ready
    • How messy action creates clarity
    • Why anxiety often comes from avoiding what you already know you need to do
    • How background anxiety turns into overwhelm and emotional exhaustion

This isn’t just a podcast facelift.

It’s a deeper focus on healing from anxiety, rebuilding confidence, and creating alignment through intentional daily habits.

If you’ve been feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or disconnected from yourself, this episode will help you understand the root of that constant internal pressure — and what to do next.

  • EP. 41 | Are You Where You Thought You Would Be? Identity, Anxiety, and Reclaiming Yourself After Survival Mode
    2026/02/11

Do you ever look at your life and quietly think, “I thought it would look different by now”?

In this episode, Angie Marie explores the unspoken anxiety many women carry in midlife — not because they failed, but because life unfolded in ways they never anticipated. Through conversations with women ages 40–60 and her own lived experience, Angie unpacks how survival mode, unhealed trauma, people-pleasing, and constant responsibility can slowly disconnect you from yourself.

This episode is for women who have lived intentionally, yet feel emotionally exhausted, anxious, or unsure how they drifted so far from the dreams they once had. We talk about identity loss, why time alone doesn’t heal what we avoid, how anxiety is often intuition asking for attention, and what it really means to slow down and rebuild from the inside out.

Angie also shares how faith, journaling, and guided self-reflection played a critical role in her healing journey — and how reconnecting with yourself is not about fixing your life, but reclaiming it.

If you’ve been pushing your feelings down, telling yourself you’ll deal with it later, or hoping time will eventually make things better — this episode invites you to pause, reflect, and listen to what’s been trying to get your attention all along.

What You’ll Hear in This Episode

    • Why so many women feel anxious when their life doesn’t match the vision they had
    • How survival mode quietly becomes a lifestyle
    • The emotional cost of “handling everything” for years
    • Why awareness alone doesn’t create change
    • How unhealed trauma and overwhelm affect mood, decisions, and self-worth
    • The connection between intuition, anxiety, and slowing down
    • How journaling creates awareness, release, and clarity
    • Why rebuilding your life requires lifestyle alignment — not pressure
    • What it means to reclaim your identity and authenticity in midlife

Reflection Questions (Great for Engagement + SEO)

    • Are you where you thought you would be at this stage of life?
    • What parts of yourself have you silenced to keep going?
    • What is your anxiety trying to tell you?
    • If you imagined a healed, whole, authentic version of yourself — how would she live?
    • What would she finally give herself permission to do?
