  • The Watchman and the Watched Over (Ezekiel 33:1-20)
    2026/09/10

Join Trey Overton and Mavric Herrera as they reflect on Dave Skorupa's Sunday sermon, continuing the Bible recap series. The church started reading the Bible chronologically together, and this sermon continued the series that dives deeper into the readings. During this episode, Trey and Mavric talked about the significant responsibility that both the watchman and the watched have. As watchman, we have a responsibility to warn of the coming death that sin brings. As sinners and the watched over, we have a responsibility to hear these warnings and not ignore the imminent danger. When we don't take these roles seriously, there is an eternal impact that can't be undone. It is literally a life-or-death issue. • The God of Hope (Ezekiel 37:1-15)
    2026/09/03

Join Trey Overton, Mavric Herrera, and Eli Leslie as they reflect on Greg Addison's Sunday sermon, continuing the Bible recap series. The church started reading the Bible chronologically together, and this sermon continued the series that dives deeper into the readings. During this episode, Trey, Mavric, and Eli spent time talking about the difference between the hope of the world and the hope that is found in Christ. There are different things that cause hopelessness, but at the end of the day, they are a result of losing sight of Christ and seeking security in places other than Him. He is the true source of hope. Eli and Mavric shared testimony of different times in their lives when they felt hopeless and how it reminded them of God's faithfulness. God is faithful, and He is the only one capable of bringing dry bones to life. Join in and reflect with us as we discuss the sermon from First Baptist Church in Fort Smith, AR.
