From Death to Life (DTL) was created to share real stories of transformation—stories of people who were once lost in addiction, brokenness, and hopelessness but were brought back to life through Jesus Christ.

This podcast exists to reach those who feel stuck, those who believe they’ve gone too far, and those searching for something real. Every episode is a reminder that God still restores, still heals, and still changes lives.

This isn’t just a podcast—it’s proof that your story can change too.

  • She Lost Both Parents the Same Way — Then Saw Jesus Cover Her Eyes | Cinthia's Full Testimony | DTL
    2026/08/13

"I looked up and saw Jesus put His hand over my eyes. He said, 'We walk by faith, not by sight. Keep your eyes on Me.'" 🙏

This is Cinthia's full testimony — start to finish.

From the time she can remember, her life was survival. Her mom was gone. Her dad was in prison for most of her childhood. She was raised by her grandmother — who married a man everyone admired for his money and his standing at church. Nobody knew what he really was.

For years, Cinthia carried a secret she felt she had to protect, convinced the truth would tear her whole family apart. She numbed the pain the only way she knew how, and the addiction took hold before she was out of her teens.

Then came the losses. She lost both of her parents the same devastating way — hit by a truck, years apart. Then her nanny. Then her grandmother. One by one, everyone who ever caught her when she fell was gone. The pills became heroin. The heroin became fentanyl. She overdosed more times than she can count.

But God was never far. He spoke through her ex-mother-in-law quoting Jeremiah 29:11 across a jail visitation screen. He hid her from men who came to kill her. And when she was homeless, owing a dealer money with nowhere left to turn — she looked up and saw Jesus cover her eyes.

That vision led her back to Teen Challenge. And there, God delivered her from the very thing her whole story started with.

Today Cinthia is in Baltimore. Her relationships with her sons are restored. From a pile of rubble — ashes made beautiful. That's what From Death to Life means.

  • She Saw Jesus Cover Her Eyes — "Walk By Faith, Not By Sight"
    2026/08/06

"I looked up and saw Jesus put His hand over my eyes. He said, 'We walk by faith, not by sight. Keep your eyes on Me.'" 🙏

This is the final chapter of Cinthia's story.

She survived losing both parents. She survived years of addiction and a fentanyl habit that nearly killed her. She finally made it to Teen Challenge — but she came for the wrong reason. She'd made a man into an idol, and when that fell apart, she relapsed and ended up homeless in the middle of the ghetto, owing a dealer money, with nowhere left to turn.

So she cried out to God.

And what happened next was only God. A vision. A stranger with a ride. A road back to Teen Challenge — where they met her with a love she'd forgotten was even real. And there, God delivered her from something that had haunted her since she was a child — the very thing that started her whole story.

Today Cinthia is in Baltimore. Her relationships with her sons are restored. And this July, she gets to be there for her son's final year of school. 🙏

From a pile of rubble to ashes made beautiful. That's what From Death to Life means.

And if you see a child going through what Cinthia went through — speak up. Be the one who steps in.
