She walked into Teen Challenge high out of her mind. They handed her a Bible. And that's where everything changed. 🙏

This is Part 4 of Yo Yo's story — and it's the turn.

She'd hit the lowest point a person can reach. She'd been to jail, been jumped, and lived in constant fear — so angry at God for keeping her alive that she couldn't see a way forward. But somewhere in the desperation, one thought broke through: "I want something different. I just don't know how."

So she Googled the best rehab centers near her — and Teen Challenge came up.

What followed was a months-long process of God asking, "Do you really want this?" She walked in still using, withdrew for three and a half weeks, and was met not with judgment — but with love. Girls filling her water bottle. A hand on her shoulder. A simple prayer. And in that love, she finally understood: God is real. He knew her the whole time.

Then came the chapel. On her knees, arms lifted, she surrendered everything — and the Holy Spirit met her. Baptized by month four. And by month eight, through the parable of the unforgiving servant in Matthew 18, she was finally able to release everyone who had ever hurt her.

Today Yo Yo is free. She graduated the program, found a support system and a faith family, and is engaged to be married. From a monster full of rage — to a woman full of joy.
