Blessed Beyond Measure – Week 1: Identity & Riches Ephesians 1:1–14

These aren’t future hopes; they are present realities shaping how we live, worship, and walk with confidence.

Citizens of Heaven, Residents of Earth In this week’s devotional, we explore the beautiful tension every believer carries: we live as residents of earthly nations, yet our true citizenship is in Heaven. Scripture calls us to honor our leaders, obey our governments, and live peaceably with all people while also remembering that we are chosen, royal priests and ambassadors of Christ.

Through passages like Philippians 3:20, 1 Peter 2:11–17, Romans 13:1–7, and Hebrews 11:13–16, we learn how to walk faithfully in both citizenships. We give thanks for the places God has planted us, and we look forward with hope to the eternal home He has prepared for us.
