  • WHEN YOUR LIFE IS FULL AND YOUR SCHEDULE IS PACKED
    2025/10/01

There are times when your life is full and your schedule is packed. When this occurs, what do you do? Stay tuned because I am talking about this on our podcast today.

Anytime you exceed your limits, it wears on you spiritually, emotionally, mentally, relationally, vocationally, and physically. Listen carefully: Margin is the space between you and your limits. How much space is in your life for rest, enjoyment, personal time, and experiencing life in a way that is refreshing to you? Even this week, there are some of you that have had conversations with your team in your workplace or with your spouse at home, about this very subject: We need more time in our schedules. Life is full and the schedule is packed! When you find yourself there, what do you do? I want to address this subject in two ways: Biblically and Practically.

  • Breaking Free in Your Life and Leadership
    2025/09/24

Everyone faces things that hold us back. We feel bound. Even trapped. Our pasts, including failures, insecurities, and pressure from within and from the outside, may lead us to experience feelings like these. All of us, whether in life or leadership, come up against these things. We must face them head-on because we cannot lead others consistently and effectively until we have personally experienced the necessary freedom. Today, we will talk about what it means to break free — to let go of what restricts you, and to step into a life and leadership marked by courage and freedom.

  • Let’s Talk About America Today
    2025/09/17

I have now lived through the assassinations of President John F. Kennedy, Civil Rights Leader Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., and the 1968 Democratic presidential candidate, Robert F. Kennedy Sr. I remember sitting down on the floor in our home as a 2nd grade little boy, watching President Kennedy’s funeral on a black and white television. Additionally, I remember when the Vietnam War was finally over on April 30, 1975. Furthermore, I have lived through 9/11, which happened twenty-four years ago. I have also lived through a global pandemic.

While I can say these were all significant events and even generational moments, what happened on the campus of Utah State University on Wednesday, September 10, 2025, is unprecedented, and its impact remains profound and seems endless. Who would have ever thought that a 22-year-old man would take a rifle onto the roof of a nearby building and brutally assassinate a 31-year-old man named Charlie Kirk? Charlie was on that campus to do what he does all over America, leading a dialogue with university students with the sole desire to impact their lives to make America stronger and greater in the future. With respect for every person, he was always honest with others but valued them personally and treated them with grace. However, Charlie Kirk’s unique approach was that he believed in the Bible, and his views came from a biblical worldview.

The questions are many today. Did this horrendous event occur because of Political Violence? Or did it happen because of Charlie Kirk’s unashamed and courageous commitment to Jesus Christ? Personally, I see that both are true. But I also see something more profound: spiritual warfare, which is undeniable.

Evil is alive all over America and the world. This evil deception is everywhere, including the online world, where so many evil things are occurring that lead to destruction and even death. Wake up, everyone! Satan and his demonic forces are alive and causing chaos, destruction, division, and even death. On September 10, 2025, Charlie Kirk was a target, not only of an assassin’s bullet, but also a target of this enemy called Satan.

  • WHAT ARE YOU DREAMING ABOUT FOR YOUR LIFE—HOW SHOULD YOU TALK TO GOD ABOUT THEM?
    2025/09/10

We all dream about the future and what it may one day look like. Dreaming about the future is healthy; we should never withhold expressing our desires, goals, or dreams about it.

Sometimes, it helps to share our dreams aloud and even with others. Lending our voice to them may help us clarify what we are dreaming about doing or considering for the future.

For those who are followers of Jesus, always know, you have an enemy who specializes in killing your dreams. He sometimes steals your joy and even plants doubt in every good thought you have about the future. Satan is your dream-killer! Please do not listen to him or his demonic voices that will often ring aloud in your ears and even in your heart.

I am not talking today about the dreams you have when you sleep. I am talking about the dreams you have for your future—your goals, thoughts, and objectives for the days ahead. These ideas that are in us may, in fact, become our path for the future, most especially when we learn how to talk to God about our dreams.

The Dream-Killer, Satan, the Devil himself, tells you that you have no value and no future ahead of you. To some of you, he claims that you are a failure. To others, he says you are too old. Listen to me: you are never too old or too young to dream about the future!

So whether you are waiting tables in a restaurant, going to class as a college student, a CEO of a Fortune 100 company, a retired woman in assisted living, a young couple facing insurmountable debt, parents of teenagers considering their futures ahead, or you are now empty nesters, or as a young single adult with a college degree and your entire future is ahead of you, this podcast is for all of you. Whatever age or stage of life you’re in, whether you’re a dreamer or someone who makes fun of others who dream about the future, this podcast is for you.

  • YOUR LIFE MATTERS: HOW TO LIVE WITH PURPOSE
    2025/09/03

Through the years of pastoring people and leading a local church, I discovered people wanted help to live life effectively. Whenever we asked them how we could help them, they would bring up the subjects of marriage and living purposefully.

In last week’s podcast, I discussed marriage. In fact, podcast 60 was titled "7 Insights For A Meaningful and Long-Lasting Marriage." If you missed it, please go back and listen to it or watch it. Through forty-eight years of marriage with my wife Jeana, we have learned about meaningful and long-lasting marriage. Therefore, I shared seven insights about this subject that will help you. In fact, you could take these seven insights about marriage and share them with your Sunday School class or small group, and the hour would be filled with discussion and insight.

I believe you could do the same with the content I am about to share with you, “Your Life Matters: How to Live With Purpose.” Your time together in any setting and with any number of people would become meaningful with discussion and overflowing with questions.

I have found this true: You cannot live spiritually fit if you do not live purposefully. Furthermore, without purpose, you will live life aimlessly. Hear me clearly: People want to know what matters in their lives.

As a man in his sixties, I want to know that my life matters. I also want to know that I have a purpose and want to live each day purposefully.

I want to give you Four Dynamic Statements About Purpose. Each of these will help you live purposefully.

This past Sunday, I preached in Huntsville, Alabama, for the Whitesburg Baptist Church and its incredibly gifted pastor, Dr. Darryl Craft. Through his seven years of leadership in the church, he has led a vital and strong revitalization, and over two thousand people attend weekly. In each service yesterday, people were baptized, joy was expressed, worship was meaningful, and the love for the Bible and its truth was embraced. It was a genuine joy and privilege for Jeana and me to be there with them. We also enjoyed our time over a luncheon with Dr. Darryl Craft and his wife, Vicky. Pray for him and the church as they continue to do all they can to make a difference for Jesus in Metro Huntsville, Alabama.

Pray for me this week and next week, as I have many things I am preparing to do in September for various ministries.

As Jeana and I look back on nearly forty-nine years together, we are humbled and grateful for how God has carried us. If you long for a marriage that is both meaningful and lasting, you’re not alone. Regardless of your vocation, stage of life, or marital status — whether single, newly married, or many years along — today I want to share with you 7 Insights for a Meaningful and Long-Lasting Marriage. Jeana and I have discovered these insights together for over forty-eight years, and we talked about these together before I shared them with you today.

Our prayer is that these insights encourage you in your own marriage journey. Whether you’re just beginning, rebuilding, or decades in, remember that marriage can be meaningful and long-lasting. Regardless of what you hear, read, or have experienced in marriage, we believe these 7 Insights will help you have a meaningful and long-lasting marriage. So now, are you ready?

  • Heaven Rules!
    2025/08/20

Hi everyone, I am Ronnie Floyd. Last week’s subject, Walking Toward The Future God Has For You. We had a great response to it. If you missed it please note to listen to or watch it.

Last week, I traveled to Athens, Greece, to lead seven twenty-minute sessions on experiencing prayer. Over 400 leaders attended from more than sixty countries worldwide. The sessions were meaningful, and the Lord moved in each one. We gifted over 500 books to those leaders present, including my new book, The Supernatural Power of Prayer and Fasting.

Preaching this coming Sunday, August 24, at the Whitesburg Baptist Church in Huntsville, Alabama. I hope you will come and be a part of it if you live in that region. You can find out the times and address on their website.

As the Lord has led me to read through the book of Daniel, oh, He has spoken to me in and through His Word greatly.

In Daniel 4:26, “your kingdom shall be confirmed for you from the time that you know that Heaven rules. O King, let my counsel be acceptable to you.”

Do you know this: Heaven rules! What does this mean? God is Sovereign over everything and everyone, including Kings and Presidents, movements and actions. Human power is temporary. God is over all, in all, and through all!
