Alex Steen’s bid for an extra NCAA eligibility year hits a major roadblock as a Florida judge denies his emergency injunction request, leaving his hopes for the 2026-27 season on hold while his broader lawsuit continues. The ruling doesn’t end his case — just delays it — with a full hearing still ahead to determine whether the NCAA’s eligibility rules are truly unfair.
