Have you ever felt life is flying by, and as it does you're drifting deeper and deeper into a purposeless abyss? I know I have. Welcome to Finding Purpose. I'm Adam Vohra, and for much of my life I lacked purpose and direction, fueled by events in my early childhood and self medicating myself with alcohol. Together, we'll explore different paths to purpose and how you can make a positive impact in your own unique way. You'll hear stories of resilience, determination, and the pursuit of purpose. We'll delve into the personal journeys of guests who've looked their demons in the eye and conquered them. These remarkable conversations display a common thread with emotional intelligence serving as the beacon to navigate relationships, setbacks and opportunities that present themselves on the path to a fulfilling life. • Ep. 123 - How to Heal Your Past, Love Yourself & Find Your Purpose with Joseph Pellicci
    2026/09/08
What if the parts of your story you've spent years trying to escape are actually the experiences preparing you for your purpose? In this episode of the Finding Purpose Podcast, Adam sits down with Joseph "JP" Pellicci—entrepreneur, coach, author, and founder of Elite Life Emergence—for a powerful conversation about childhood trauma, self-worth, forgiveness, self-love, spirituality, fatherhood, and breaking the patterns that keep us disconnected from who we truly are. Joseph's story began in Stamford, Connecticut, where he grew up in his family's restaurant business and learned responsibility at an early age. But behind that upbringing were experiences that would profoundly shape his identity: struggling with dyslexia and special education, bullying, violence, feeling unsafe, becoming a father at just 15, raising children as a single father, and carrying a deeply rooted belief that he wasn't enough. Years later, discovering his wife's affair became another defining moment. Instead of allowing the experience to destroy him, Joseph began questioning the patterns that continued appearing throughout his life. What followed was a journey inward—toward responsibility, forgiveness, gratitude, spirituality, self-acceptance, and ultimately self-love. Joseph explains why healing begins when we stop blaming the world around us and become curious about what our triggers may be revealing within us. He and Adam explore childhood wounds, the inner child, external validation, vulnerability, ego, acceptance, nervous system regulation, breathwork, authenticity, relationships, fatherhood, and learning to take responsibility for the life you want to create. They also discuss why purpose isn't necessarily something we need to manufacture or chase. Sometimes finding purpose is a process of removing the conditioning, fear, judgment, and expectations that have separated us from who we have always been. At its core, this conversation is about coming home to yourself—learning to accept your entire story, transforming adversity into growth, and realizing that self-love may be one of the most powerful ways we can change our relationships, our families, and the world around us. About Joseph Pellicci Joseph Pellicci is an entrepreneur, coach, author, and founder of Elite Life Emergence. Through coaching, speaking, transformational experiences, and his book 12 Steps to Loving Yourself, Joseph helps people move beyond external validation, reconnect with themselves, and build lives rooted in self-worth, authenticity, love, and purpose. He is also involved in The Remembrance, an immersive retreat experience designed to help participants reconnect with who they are beneath conditioning, fear, and the noise of everyday life. • Ep. 122 - How Women Over 40 Can Reclaim Their Health, Energy & Confidence with Jennifer Rozon
    2026/09/01
In this episode of the Finding Purpose Podcast, Adam sits down with Jennifer Rozon—certified nutrition coach, founder of Revibe Nutrition, speaker, and host of the Revibe Your Life Podcast—for an honest conversation about women's health after 40, metabolism, hormones, weight loss, body image, confidence, mindset, and finding purpose. Jennifer grew up believing that how she looked was directly connected to her worth and success. That pursuit of perfection eventually contributed to a seven-year struggle with an eating disorder—an experience she rarely speaks about publicly. When Jennifer learned her health was affecting her ability to conceive, everything began to change. She slowly rebuilt her relationship with food, learned how nutrition could fuel rather than punish her body, and began developing the knowledge that would eventually shape her work with other women. Today, Jennifer's mission goes far beyond helping women lose weight. She explains why women in their 40s and 50s often feel disconnected from bodies that are changing through perimenopause, menopause, hormonal shifts, metabolism changes, low energy, and aging—and why the answer isn't another restrictive diet or quick fix. Adam and Jennifer discuss sustainable weight loss, strength training, nutrition, protein, healthy habits, morning routines, mindset, GLP-1 medications and peptides, muscle mass, bone health, and why longevity should matter more than simply looking good for the next six months. They also explore the deeper emotional side of transformation: overcoming shame, rebuilding confidence, changing your relationship with food, letting go of external validation, and learning to work with the body you have today rather than fighting to become the person you once were. Jennifer shares why sustainable health begins with understanding your deeper "why" and creating habits that actually fit your life. At its core, this conversation is about much more than weight loss. It's about reclaiming your energy, confidence, health, and identity—and building a stronger body and life for the decades ahead. About Jennifer Rozon Jennifer Rozon is a certified nutrition coach, speaker, founder of Revibe Nutrition, and host of the Revibe Your Life Podcast. • Ep. 121 - How to Find Joy, Trust Yourself & Live Authentically with Rosalie Kissmann
    2026/08/25
In this episode of the Finding Purpose Podcast, Adam sits down with Rosalie Kissmann—speaker, educator, happiness teacher, and founder of Joy Redefined—for a powerful conversation about finding joy, trusting your intuition, overcoming fear, authentic living, self-love, relationships, spirituality, and discovering your purpose. Rosalie grew up as the daughter of Italian immigrants in a traditional household where life came with a clear roadmap: work hard, get an education, get married, and follow the rules. For years, she checked every box. By her twenties, she had the marriage, beautiful home, luxury cars, and vacations that were supposed to represent success. But something was missing. At 31, Rosalie trusted the voice inside telling her that the life she had built wasn't the life she was meant to live. Despite resistance from her family and the fear of starting over, she chose divorce and walked away from the comfort and security she had known. Going from a 3,600-square-foot home to a one-bedroom apartment taught her something life-changing: happiness and fulfillment aren't the same thing as having more. Adam and Rosalie explore the psychology of happiness, including the difference between hedonic happiness—the temporary pleasure we experience through possessions and experiences—and eudaimonic happiness, the deeper fulfillment that comes from meaning, growth, and living in alignment. Rosalie also opens up about one of the darkest periods of her life. During the pandemic, while teaching and raising her daughters, she reached a point where she no longer wanted to live. Then, during an experience she describes as divine, she felt a powerful shift that changed the trajectory of her life and deepened her connection to spirituality and purpose. That journey ultimately became Joy Redefined. Rosalie explains why joy isn't reserved for life's happiest moments. It can exist alongside grief, adversity, uncertainty, and struggle. She shares practical insights on staying present, strengthening social connection, breaking generational patterns, embracing failure, removing the masks we wear, and learning to become your own biggest supporter. She also shares her JOY framework: Just remove your mask. Own your story. You are enough. At its core, this conversation challenges us to stop looking outside ourselves for happiness and start building lives rooted in authenticity, purpose, connection, and self-acceptance. About Rosalie Kissmann Rosalie Kissmann is a speaker, educator, happiness teacher, and founder of Joy Redefined. After 25 years as an elementary school teacher, she expanded her passion for education by teaching happiness to children and sharing her message with broader audiences through motivational speaking. Her work explores happiness, authenticity, self-acceptance, resilience, relationships, spirituality, and what it means to find joy even when life isn't perfect.
