The party has returned to Vasaros, the Capital City, to find that the defense efforts have been prepared while they were away. Stressfully waiting for the the attack to come, the snow begins to fall from the sky, and war horns are heard from the northern side of the city. Here, win or lose, the world's destiny will change. In what ways, the party cannot fathom. For the moment, there is only defending the walls of the capital, and preventing the vampiric Moon Elves from pressing any further...

The party has completed multiple tasks! They completed Lorelie's dream mission(sort of), they acquired the first Facet of Virtue before the elves could take it for themselves, they got Leeland his flower that he was sent about a month ago to get for Mother Essence, and they satisfied Magnanimous Montgomery Mortimer Mount Mobius Morgan But You Can Just Call Me Cahoots JR.! Upon landing on shore, the party decides maybe they can spend a moment longer in Phocelles, with Antileon knowing a merchant contact that he traded with awhile back, potentially leading to a side quest adventure!

He was sent to Phocelles to acquire a unique flower that only grows across the lake but the residents are all paranoid or insane, and there seems to not be any boats! Except... for one...
