This Sunday 29th. January 2024, I witnessed something that stopped me in my tracks. At Harbour Drive Church, a lively feast of beautifully dressed people sharing homemade food painted a picture of community and abundance. But just steps away, behind the church, a different reality unfolded—homeless individuals, the struggling, and the forgotten, unsure of where their next meal would come from.
Jesus never taught us to turn our backs on those in need. Remember the rich man who ignored Lazarus at his gate? (Luke 16:19-31). Are we walking past our Lazaruses today?
Let’s reflect:
👉 Are we truly living as Christ called us to?
👉 Is our faith active, or are we only looking inward?
👉 What more can we do to help "the least of these"? (Matthew 25:40).
We ALL have the power to make a difference. Let’s start a conversation, share ideas, and take ACTION. The church isn’t just a building—it’s US.
💬 Drop your thoughts below. Let’s move beyond sermons and live the message of compassion. Share this if you believe we can do better together!
