BIRTHDAY SPECIAL - Happy Birthday Sadie

I said yes to a future I never planned - and a lot of it started because someone else saw something in me before I did.

Sadie’s story is such a good reminder that calling doesn’t always look like a perfect plan. Sometimes it looks like:

• one brave step
• one faithful person
• one open door you didn’t expect

And sometimes God doesn’t give the whole map - just enough peace for the next move. That part hit me.

Because the “right” decision isn’t always the easiest one. What’s one moment where someone encouraged you and it changed your direction?

God changed my life through people I almost ignored.

Mike shared that some of the biggest shifts in his life came through people who:

• Stayed when others backed away
• Told him the truth, even when it was uncomfortable
• Helped him see what God could do in him before he could see it himself

That really challenges us is we often ask God for a clear word, while overlooking the wisdom He has already placed around us

· Sometimes direction comes through Scripture.

· Sometimes it comes through peace.

· Sometimes it comes through a trusted friend saying, “I don’t think that’s right.”

Maybe the breakthrough isn’t more noise.

Maybe it’s godly community.

• He sees the person, not the label.
• He treats care like ministry, not just a job.
• God loves you and me deeply and that changes everything
• Working for God is more than a role.

And honestly, that’s the invitation for all of us. You don’t have to be in a hospital to bring light to others. Sometimes it’s just obedience. Will you obey? If you’re wondering whether it’s too late to start again... it’s not. Maybe God’s not finished with you either.
