I thought I had retired. God clearly had other plans.
Your life is never wasted when you choose to serve.
At 42, Graham Peckett changed careers. At 66, he retired and then went back to work - not for a title, but to bring joy, hope, and real human connection to people who needed it most. That’s the thing I love about his story:
- He sees the person, not the label.
- He treats care like ministry, not just a job.
- God loves you and me deeply and that changes everything
- Working for God is more than a role.
And honestly, that’s the invitation for all of us. You don’t have to be in a hospital to bring light to others. Sometimes it’s just obedience. Will you obey? If you’re wondering whether it’s too late to start again... it’s not. Maybe God’s not finished with you either.
