Faithful in Midlife is a podcast for Christian women who want to realign their lives with God and experience less overwhelm and more peace.

If you’re feeling stretched thin, carrying too much, or wondering what God is calling you to in this season, you’re not alone. Midlife can bring changing roles, shifting priorities, and questions about who you are now and where God is leading you next.

Each week, you’ll find faith-filled encouragement, biblical wisdom, and practical guidance to help you quiet the pressure, stop overthinking every decision, and focus on what matters most. We’ll talk honestly about discernment, identity in Christ, people-pleasing, boundaries, relationships, priorities, and stewarding your time, energy, gifts, and resources well.

This isn’t about doing more, finding the perfect system, or getting everything right. It’s about releasing what God has not asked you to carry, realigning your life with what He is asking of you, and following His leading with wisdom and peace.

Through rooted faith, wise stewardship, and heartfelt hospitality, you can live this season with greater clarity, purpose, peace, and intention.

You and me, friend—let’s take the next faithful step together.

  • 07 I Burnout Or Is God Redirecting You?
    2026/09/01

Feeling burned out doesn't always mean it's time to quit—but it may be worth paying attention to.

In this episode of Faithful in Midlife, we're talking about the difference between being depleted, resisting something difficult, and sensing that God may be redirecting you. Through scripture and some everyday examples, we'll look at why rest should sometimes come before a big decision and why truly seeking God's direction means being willing to hear an answer we didn't expect.

If you've been wondering whether you need to rest, keep going, change something, or let something go, this episode will give you one simple question to take to God: “Lord, is this still mine?”

  • 06 I Love People Without Carrying Them
    2026/08/25

Do you feel responsible for making sure everyone around you is okay?

You may be the one who solves the problems, remembers what everyone needs, keeps the family connected, and steps in when someone else fails to follow through. These may be acts of love—but helping can quietly turn into carrying responsibilities that were never yours.

In this episode, we’ll explore the difference between helping someone carry a genuine burden and taking responsibility for the load they need to carry themselves. You’ll learn why stepping back can produce guilt, how to recognize when helping has become rescuing, and how to support the people you love without taking over.

We’ll also look at the example of Jesus, who loved people deeply but did not allow every need or expectation to determine His choices.

You can be compassionate, generous, and available without carrying everything for everyone.

Scripture Referenced: Galatians 6:2, Galatians 6:5, and Luke 5:15–16.
