What happens when another woman's life quietly becomes the measuring stick for your own?

You see her opportunity, her family, her gifts, her ministry, her success, her season—and before you know it, you're not simply noticing what's happening in her life anymore. You're using it as information about yours.

Am I behind? Should I be further along? Am I doing this wrong? Why does her life seem to be unfolding differently than mine?

Comparison has a way of turning our eyes sideways and convincing us that someone else's life can tell us something about the value, timing, or faithfulness of our own.

In this episode of Faith, Fire, Freedom, we're talking about what happens when comparison becomes a measuring stick—and what it looks like to put that measuring stick down. Together we'll get curious about what's underneath comparison, explore how God intentionally designed us with different gifts and assignments, and talk about why someone else's fruit doesn't mean God has forgotten your soil.

And through a powerful moment between Jesus and Peter in John 21, we'll come back to the invitation at the heart of it all:
