Day 40 – Beholding the Wonder of God

    Podcast: https://open.spotify.com/show/3UKsQpZzjFBO0OOiSeLXGI?si=01614b39cc0945ae

    Scripture Verse:
    Exodus 34:28 (NKJV)
“So he was there with the Lord forty days and forty nights; he neither ate bread nor drank water. And He wrote on the tablets the words of the covenant, the Ten Commandments.”

    Devotional:
The number 40 carries weight in Scripture. For 40 days, the rain fell during the flood as God cleansed the earth (Genesis 7:12). Moses spent 40 days on Mount Sinai receiving God's law (Exodus 34:28). Elijah walked 40 days to Horeb, the mountain of God (1 Kings 19:8). Jesus fasted for 40 days in the wilderness as He prepared for His public ministry (Matthew 4:2). And after His resurrection, Jesus spent 40 days appearing to His disciples and speaking about the Kingdom of God (Acts 1:3).

These 40-day moments were not random—they were sacred seasons of preparation, transformation, revelation, and renewal.

Over the past 40 days, we too have entered into a sacred space of beholding the wonder of God. We've explored His beauty in creation, His power in salvation, His nearness in suffering, and His glory in every area of life. Each day has been an invitation to slow down, look up, and live in awe.

This final day is not an ending, but a beginning. Beholding is not a one-time experience—it’s a lifestyle. Let this journey spark a deeper hunger in you to know God, to see Him in all things, and to live with eyes wide open to His wonder.

    Prayers:

Prayer of Thanksgiving for the Journey:
“Lord, thank You for these 40 days of wonder. Thank You for revealing Yourself in powerful and personal ways. I am amazed by Your presence, Your faithfulness, and Your beauty. Let the seeds You’ve planted grow into lasting transformation. Amen.”

Prayer for a Lifelong Vision of God’s Wonder:
“Father, don’t let my beholding stop here. Teach me to keep my eyes on You every day of my life. May wonder never grow old, and may my heart never stop praising You. Let me walk in daily awe of who You are. Amen.”

Day 39 – The Wonder of Our Future Hope

    Podcast: https://open.spotify.com/show/3UKsQpZzjFBO0OOiSeLXGI?si=01614b39cc0945ae

    Scripture Verse:
    Revelation 21:3–4 (NKJV)
“And I heard a loud voice from heaven saying, ‘Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people... and God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.’”

    Devotional:
The grand finale of beholding the wonder of God is found in our eternal future with Him. Every glimpse of beauty, every taste of grace, and every whisper of His presence here on earth is but a shadow of the glory to come. One day, faith will become sight. The fullness of joy will be ours, face-to-face with our Savior.

This hope is not wishful thinking—it’s a promise sealed by the resurrection of Jesus. In the new heavens and new earth, there will be no more suffering, no more sin, and no more separation. The God who walks with us now will dwell among us forever.

Let the wonder of eternity shape the way you live today. Live with anticipation. Live with boldness. Live as a citizen of heaven, with your heart set on the One who is making all things new.

    Prayers:

Prayer of Praise for Future Hope:
“Jesus, I praise You for preparing a place for us—where You dwell with us and all is made right. Thank You for the hope that lifts our eyes beyond this world. I marvel at the wonder of what is to come. Amen.”

Prayer for Living with Eternity in Mind:
“Lord, help me live each day in light of the hope You’ve given. May the promise of eternity with You fuel my faith, shape my values, and inspire me to live for Your glory. Let my life reflect the wonder of my eternal home. Amen.”

Day 37: Cooperation with Other Churches

    Podcast:
    https://open.spotify.com/show/3UKsQpZzjFBO0OOiSeLXGI?si=01614b39cc0945ae

    Scripture Verse: John 17:21 (NKJV)
“That they all may be one, as You, Father, are in Me, and I in You; that they also may be one in Us, that the world may believe that You sent Me.”

    Devotional:
Jesus prayed for unity—not just in individual churches, but across the body of Christ. When churches work together, we witness something sacred: the wonder of God glorified through shared mission and mutual love.

God is not confined to one location, denomination, or tradition. His Spirit unites us across walls and labels. We reflect His nature most clearly when we walk in unity and cooperation.

Together, we are a more complete picture of Christ. The world will believe when the Church becomes one.

    Prayers:

Prayer of Praise for the Body of Christ:
“Jesus, thank You for making us one Church. I praise You for the beauty of diversity and the power of unity. Let Your Church rise in love. Amen.”

    Prayer for Unity and Partnership:
“Lord, tear down pride and competition among churches. Replace it with love, humility, and shared vision. Help us partner together to show the world Your heart. Amen.”

    Scripture Verse: Ephesians 2:10 (NKJV)
“For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.”

    Devotional:
You are not an accident—you are God’s craftsmanship. His hands shaped you with purpose, and His Spirit equips you to walk in the works He has already prepared for you.

The wonder of experiencing God is not just about sensing His presence; it’s about stepping into His calling. Every kind word, every act of service, every moment of obedience is part of a bigger picture He’s painting through your life.

You don’t have to force a calling or create your own significance. Just walk in what God has already planned. His glory shines through ordinary faithfulness.

    Prayers:

Prayer of Praise for God’s Purpose in Us:
“Lord, I praise You for creating me with intention and for shaping my life with divine purpose. Your workmanship is wonderful. Thank You for inviting me to join in Your good work. Amen.”

    Podcast:
    https://open.spotify.com/show/3UKsQpZzjFBO0OOiSeLXGI?si=01614b39cc0945ae

    Scripture Verse: Philippians 2:13 (NKJV)
“For it is God who works in you both to will and to do for His good pleasure.”

    Devotional:
One of the most humbling wonders of God is that He chooses to work through us. You are His workmanship, designed for good works. But these works don’t originate from you—they flow from Him.

When you yield to His Spirit, He stirs your desires and empowers your obedience. You aren’t alone in your mission; God is actively shaping your heart and guiding your steps.

Don’t underestimate the daily moments where His presence flows through your life to touch others. He is at work—through you.

    Prayers:

“Father, I thank You for working in me and through me. You’re the source of my strength and the reason for any good I do. I give You all the glory. Amen.”

  • In the Potter's Hand (Day 34 of 40)
    2025/06/07

Day 34: In the Potters Hand

    Podcast:
    https://open.spotify.com/show/3UKsQpZzjFBO0OOiSeLXGI?si=01614b39cc0945ae

    Scripture Verse: Jeremiah 18:1-6 (NKJV)
“The word which came to Jeremiah from the Lord, saying: “Arise and go down to the potter’s house, and there I will cause you to hear My words.” Then I went down to the potter’s house, and there he was, making something at the wheel. And the vessel that he made of clay was marred in the hand of the potter; so he made it again into another vessel, as it seemed good to the potter to make. Then the word of the Lord came to me, saying: “O house of Israel, can I not do with you as this potter?” says the Lord. “Look, as the clay is in the potter’s hand, so are you in My hand, O house of Israel!”

    Devotional:
The wonder of God’s kingdom is that greatness comes through servanthood. Jesus—King of kings—stooped to wash feet. He came not to be served but to serve, and in doing so, revealed the heart of God.

To be a servant of God is to take the low place willingly. It’s not glamorous, but it’s glorious. Serving isn’t about tasks; it’s about heart posture. Whether teaching, listening, cleaning, or encouraging, you’re embodying the love of Christ.

In a world that prizes status, we reflect God’s wonder when we choose to serve.

    Prayers:

Prayer of Praise for Jesus’ Servanthood:
“Jesus, I praise You for humbling Yourself to serve. Your love moved You to action, and Your example moves me to do the same. Amen.”

    Prayer for a Servant’s Heart:
“Lord, teach me to serve with joy. Help me see needs and meet them with love. May I live as Your servant, bringing You glory in quiet and unseen ways. Amen.”

Scripture Verse: 1 John 2:6 (NKJV)
“He who says he abides in Him ought himself also to walk just as He walked.”

    Devotional:
There is no greater wonder than Jesus Himself—the perfect reflection of God’s heart and character. When we behold Jesus, we don’t just see a Savior; we see a model for how we are to live.

Jesus walked in love, truth, humility, and obedience. His life wasn’t rushed or reactive; it was led by the Spirit and anchored in the Father’s will. As His followers, we are invited to pattern our lives after His example—not by trying harder, but by abiding in Him.
