このコンテンツについて
This week, I’m sharing the story behind a black eye, yes, a real one, and the deeper spiritual insights it stirred. We start with Mike Tyson’s famous line, “Everyone has a plan until they get hit in the face,” and trace it through the wisdom of Ecclesiastes 9:11: “Time and chance happen to them all.” From life’s sucker punches to its detours and delays, we explore how to expect the unexpected and thrive through it.
I reflect on seven hard-earned lessons about endurance, perspective, and growth, not just through major life crises but in the everyday hiccups that throw us off course. Life doesn’t go according to plan, and maybe that’s the point. Discomfort builds strength, conflict reveals character, and setbacks are often the raw material for comebacks. If we’re willing to reflect, adapt, and grow, we’ll come out the other side not just older, but wiser, stronger, and more grounded in purpose.
This episode is a call to see life’s black eyes as teachers, not punishments. Because growth doesn’t come from the recliner, it comes from the ring. Let’s learn how to cooperate with God’s process, no matter what life throws our way.
